Too slick on the sides when holding the phone. The back is also TOO SLICK. Returned this one for the "Evo Check" case. It will protect your phone just slippery.

I will buy tech21 time and time again. The pricing is more than fair, and they produce a very high quality product. It fits the iphone 11 pro max like a glove! This case is rated for 10ft drops but I've never had to test that feature. But it holds up beautifully from normal drops from pockets, laps, hands and tables. It has slightly raised edges all around the screen to protect from drops screen down. The case says it is antimicrobial which works great for me because I work in a hospital. The clear case keeps its clear color the best out of any case I've purchased. My previous case was the same clear design as this but for an iphone 8+. It didn't discolor at all in the 2 years I used it.

I've always laughed about the whole idea of getting a phone in a particular color only to cover it up with a bulky, bland case. When it came time to pick up the latest iPhone I opted for the unique green color and needed a case that would be durable and yet show off the color of the phone. In the past, I've found that clear cases were either made of hard plastic that cracked on the first drop, or turned colors very quickly. While I can't speak to the color changing principles for this case since I haven't had it long enough, I can say it was night and day easier to apply and remove than the Apple branded clear case I initially picked up with the phone. I always felt like i was going to break something by removing it, and with the Tech21 it comes off smoothly and is very easy to reapply. Another prime difference between the two cases is that I can actually engage the mute switch without a fingernail jammed into the slot, since the hole around the switch is much more accommodating on the Tech21. Because of the softer case material, the buttons themselves also have more "give" and just feel more natural to use. Bottom line - this case is absolutely the one you want if you have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and don't want to hide your green phone, and feels like it will be durable for all those unfortunate bounces and drops we all try to avoid now that phones are more expensive than mortgage payments.

Buttons on the case are too firm. Does not press down easily. Case yellows over time as well.

Case was defective so I returned it and got my money back.

It works for what it is however I moved on to a different case.

Controls for volume and closing did not function properly through case. Case very slippery; dropped phone trying to get it out of pocket. Had previous Tech 21 cases for variety of iPhones and all worked well prior to this model. Would Not Recommend for iPhone 11 Pro Max.

I purchased the silver iPhone Pro max and chose this clear case so that the silver part of the phone would show. It is a beautiful phone. But, the side part of the cover was opaque so couldn’t see the silver. I returned it.

The shipping was fast and luckily my other product I ordered was great, however, this case does not fit my phone at all. The description says 11 pro max, online as well as on the box. I don’t know if this was a manufacturing error or what.

As expensive as phones are today, you need a case that will protect such a valuable investment. With so many case option to choose from, it becomes difficult trying to decide what case is the right one for you. I myself hate the fact that a phone case takes away the beauty of my phone. In a first glance, the Tech21 case didn’t look to be all of that protective, but when you look at the construction, “looks can be deceiving.” It appears to have extra protection around the edges and the case feels pretty thick. I chose the clear cover because I wants to be able to display the actual phone color, rather than just the case. Tech21 claims drop protection from 10ft. Unfortunately, I won’t be putting my phone up to the test, but that’s pretty cool from a case like this. Another great feature is the “self-healing” finish that smooths over, which I can actually see now. I do work around the garage and put my phone down everywhere. After looking at the phone case, it looks like new. I’m happy with this product. I definitely recommend the Tech21 case to anyone.

The side volume and open/close buttons are not like the other Tech21 cases, could not get them to work with iPhone, maybe just a bad one from manufacturer.

I like this case. Nice and sturdy. Slim profile doesn’t add bulk to my phone or make it heavy. I love a clear case to show off the beautiful color of my phone. Gives a decent enough edge around the phone to help with drop impact. I actually dropped my phone not on purpose the first day using this case. My phone fell about 5ft down to the concrete floor right on the screen. I was very happy to see that my screen wasn’t cracked, nicked or scratched. This case saved my screen. The other thing I like about this case is that some clear cases tend to be slippery in your hand. This one feels nice and grippy. I am tremendously satisfied with the durability, style and functionality of this case. I want more in different colors.

I sat down with my phone in my back pocket and my screen cracked I am pretty sure this is not normal I am pretty to satisfied!

My initial impressions of this case was that I loved it. I have a Spigen clear case, and a yellow Apple leather case that I was switching between. I have used Tech21 cases in the past and have been really happy with them. The build is great, and it fits perfect. The buttons are perfect, easy to distinguish and clickie. I really enjoyed using it the first few days, and preferred it over the Spigen, but then after some time it starting feeling very slick. I don’t have sweaty hands so this seemed odd to me. A quick wipe down would normally take care of it, but I felt that it was getting slick quicker. The sides don’t feel slippery just the back part. I love that you can still see the actual phone, and the sides have a frosted pattern to them that looks nice also. I would recommend it to people as long as you are aware of the possibility that the back might get slick and need to be wiped off occasionally.

I am a big fan of Pure Clear Case for iPhones and always use clear cases on my phones to show off the beautiful glossy look of the iPhone. I have purchased iPhone 11 Pro max and got the Tech21 - Pure Clear Case. The case looks beautiful and solid as well. Build quality is great. It comes with a scratch-resistant design and protects the device against accidental damage. It has impact drop protection which will safeguard the phone against accidental drops. The fit was perfect with the phone and transparent back design allow to display the phone. This is a perfect iPhone 11 Pro max clear case and highly recommend this.
