I like how it is relatively slim. It is a little loose on the phone. Wish there were color options other than black. Would choose something else next time.

It was thin and sexy but just didn't fit perfect so had to return it.

While case is sleek it does not give any added protection against drops and was came off phone too easily

When you put it on the note 5 it's very loose and doesn't fit right

I really do not like this case at all. The only thing it really protect are the corners of my phone I will definitely replace it a.s.a.p..

I had this same case for my previous Samsung S5 phone for nearly 2 years. It still looked and performed like the day I bought it. I dropped that phone on several occasions and never experienced any problems with my phone cracking or damage. When I bought the Note 5, I was concerned about the glass back. Once I saw that Tech21 had this case available, I bought it for my Note5. I haven't dropped it yet, but I don't expect any problems with this case protecting the phone.

The Tech21 is a simple, grippy case with clean lines and well centered cutouts. The bottom edge is more flexible than the top due to the four cutouts for earplugs jack, power cable, speaker, and S-Pen, but bottom thickness is sturdy enough to survive a drop and vertical landing. It makes the front bottom edge feel a bit looser than some like, but it is necessary by design. The corners hug enough to keep the case securely on the phone, though. All buttons are crisp and work flawlessly on my case. The texture is just right to keep the phone firmly in hand. It is quite comfortable, and the front edges are designed to keep the screen elevated above flat surfaces. The edges don't interfere with the screen, like some of the bulkier cases do. I really like the case, and recommend it to many to at least give it a go.

I really like the case. It overlaps the screen to protect the edges of the screen and it slim, but offers good protection of the phone. Very pleased and will buy more cases from this maker.

Absolutely love it. Fits like a glove and doesn't make the phone feel to bulky. I've always used a Commuter case for my phones....not anymore.

Nicely built fits snug, I believe it will take a few bumps with no problem. Adds very little bulk to the already large phone. The bottom has so many cut outs for the different ports, which are all needed and line up good, that the bottom does flex a little more than I would like.

Probably this case provides a good protection for your phone against drops and TPU imho is better than silicone or hard shell, but... I wish the grip was better and buttons a little easier to press. It is not a bad case, overall, but I've seen better.

Excellent screen and drop protection. The interior has a corrugated-like red plastic ribbing around the edges that makes for excellent protection. The lip around the screen is moderately wide and deep with a soft rolled edge that is comfortable and doesn't interfere with swiping with one hand. Best: Micro textured material that doesn't slide in your hands, flat on a table, or precariously perched up in landscape for video consumption. Worst: Price. Also, the buttons are difficult to push. It seems that the material around the buttons is too stiff. I'm hoping it loosens in quick time. I bought over five cases to try and this one is the keeper because of the excellent protection and it is not slippery.

I had the Tech21 Tactical case for my previous phone, the HTC M8 for about a year and a half. After a few long drops on cement, it never incurred any damage. I felt lucky to have found the same make in case for my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Everything I liked about the old case, I like about the new one. Same slim fit, textured grip, protection features built into the case, etc. I've yet to have dropped the Samsung, but feel confident in the case's protection properties. All the cutouts for the ports are perfectly aligned. A quality product. My wife's iPhone and son's Galaxy S5 are also protected with Tech21 cases, and they have never failed to perform for any of us. Definitely worth the moderate cost.

Only reason I didn't get 5 stars is the bottom where the charger, speaker, headphone jack, and S Pen goes is weak. If you grab the phone by the bottom you will feel the case pull off the bottom.

I wasn't really looking to buy this particular case but when my wife noticed it, (I was saying a new thinner case would be nice), I liked the looks of it and did a test fit right there in the store and had to have it. It doesn't have a kick stand like my old case but I didn't use that feature of the old case as much as I thought I would. My daughter uses my phone in kid mode sometimes and has dropped it with this case numerous times - I never worry about it because with this case and the screen protector it feels very safe through anything.
