Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Evo Tactical Case's solid protection and snug fit for their Samsung Galaxy S8+. Many appreciate the case's lightweight design, good grip, and attractive color options. However, some users find the buttons difficult to press. While some consider the price point high, others find the overall quality and slim profile worthwhile.

The phone case looks nice, but it makes the buttons very hard to push. This is why I returned the item.

The cover is very rough and hard to handle the different buttons on the phone. I am thinking about exchanging mine.

I was a bit disappointed that the store only had a plain black case available, very hard to find in my bag, I bought a pretty one with flowers as soon as I could

I don't like cases on my phone. I normally only use a screen protector, but since the screen protectors for this phone seem to be struggling I felt I needed some kind of protection. This case is pretty good. It's fairly unobtrusive and not too bulky. I have 2 complaints: 1: the power/screen lock button is VERY hard to press. Not sure if this will break in or not. 2: I normally rest the bottom of the phone on my pinky when typing. the cutouts on the bottom of the case for the charger and such get in the way of comfortable pinky resting. I'm honestly not sure what they could have done to avoid this because obviously they need those openings, but it's a bit annoying to me so I thought I'd share.

Awesome case, unbearably difficult power button!

I am a huge tech 21 fan. Had their previous versions of the tactical cases and loved them, so when I picked up my new S8+ I went straight to the newly released case with no questions asked. I did notice that a few other reviews mentioned trouble with the buttons, but I ignored what I read, figured how bad could it be, and trusted in tech 21. Turns out the other reviews were not exaggerating. The power button is insanely difficult to press. You can't just casually hit the button lightly like I have with all my other tech 21 cases. You need to grip the phone tightly in your hand and then use your thumb to press down HARD to get it to work. Sometimes I have to use two hands. Other than that this case is fantastic, but this issue is a deal breaker. Comparing my other cases it looks like they skimped out on materials for the buttons so they are much thinner and thus 10x harder to press. I will reach out to tech 21, I am assuming is is a first run production issue. Unless it's resolved this will be going back and I'd advise others to steer clear until it's fixed. Will update my review when I get their response.

    Great Case

I have always been a big fan of tech 21. I had their tactical case for the Note 5, Check case for a Droid Z Force, and have one of their cases for my MacBook Pro. I love the thinness of this case and the protection it offers. The only negative, as mentioned in the other reviews, is that the buttons are really hard to press, specifically the power button. I did not take off a star for this since Samsung didn't put the most tactile buttons on the S8+ to begin with, so I'm not sure this issue is entirely Tech21's fault.

I like the size and fit of the case, but the buttons are VERY hard to push. I will return this case due to this button issue. Too bad, it is an otherwise decent case.
