Bought this for really cheap. Didn't get a chance to see it, wasn't expecting much.

Paid $30 for movie and it didn't come with the turtle bands like the ones do if I would've bought it for $12

Micheal Bay ruins another franchise and makes want my time and money back for getting this film

Very poor acting and not much to laugh at. Would not waste my money again on this movie.

I am a fan of the turtles since childhood. I have comics and toys. I watched the original series. I watched the original movies. I played most of the video games including the original NES one. This movie is wonderful. After reading all the nerds complaining about how TMNT would be ruined similarly to Transformers and realizing that Transformers has been ruined, I decided to not watch this movie. It was not until I got it for free on amazon prime did I watch it. I was blown away. There were few changes that did not add to the story in meaningful ways. It made the turtles more impressive for a modern generation used to everything big. The acting and dialogue of the turtles is brilliant. April Oneal has never been important so I could care less who they cast but Fox is adequate. The changes to the plot make it seem slightly more realistic and feasable, while they do still manage to like fun at the sillyness of the concept. The action is non stop. As a movie about a concept I ate, drank and breathed growing up, I loved it. It is one of my favorite comic based movies of all time, possibly fun movies of all time as well.

The movie is fabulous with all the action. Megan Fox, she's not bad. I say she's alright. The part where the Turtles are bullet proof by their shells is awesome. I laughed so hard when the part where the Turtles are in the elevator making music after Michaelangelo said MC Mikey. The Shredder looks very awesome with the blades coming out of the arms. I heard that a lot of people are saying that movie could've been 20 minutes longer. If you're a hard fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you must own this movie. It would be awesome watching it with your friends and family, especially when you're eating pizza.

I pre-ordered this movie back in November for my two boys since we missed it in theaters. I ordered the steelbook which also came with 2 masks for them to wear during their viewing and they loved it! I haven't had a chance to sit down and watch it, but I it did seem like a nice fresh take on the old movie. The kids were always laughing and their was high energy throughout the movie. I also think they did a good job of bringing the audience up to speed with the storyline. I caught a BBY pre-order deal and I was not disappointed once again. Thank you BBY!

My family thoroughly enjoyed this film! It is well suited for all age groups. The steelbook is one of the best Best Buy has released thus far! Saves collectors from importing. Nice gloss and mild embossing! However, the best version of the film is the 3D... so it's such a shame that the steelbook didn't include the 3D disc. I hope that changes in future steelbook exclusives. So, if you want the best version of the film - - pick up the 3D. If you want the best packaging - - pick up the steelbook. I picked up both...

Overall, I would say this movie was a very good reboot of the TMNT franchise. It's not the best movie ever, as Michael Bay falls into the same trap of focusing too much on the boring human characters instead of the awesome main characters (much like he did with Transformers). Still, as a huge fan of the Turtles since they first hit the scene when I was a kid, this is one of the better Turtles movies you will find, maybe rivaled only by the first Turtles movie from what seems like ages ago.

i was shock how good this remake was bc when i heard that they wear remaking teenage mutant ninja turtles i was like why would they remake this so when i saw it i was like wow they did a good job bc i was thinking it was going to be so bad but i was wrong bc it is pretty good it has some good action and humor in it and the parts where the turtles are fighting with swords was pretty good so if you want to watch a not bad action movie with the kids i would check this one out

I've been a huge TMNT fan since I was a wee lad, and I loved the old TMNT movies. I was obviously excited about this. It was fun to watch, but I was a bit let down in the fact that they look weird. I know it seems nit-picky, but I'm use to TMNT of old, so they just looked like TMNT on steroids. To me the old movies did a better job of depicting what I would expect a TMNT to look like, lol. Other than that, the movie itself was entertaining.

I've been a TMNT fan for years, and I saw this the day it came out in theaters despite hearing negative reviews about it. It turns out that I really, really enjoyed the movie. Non-stop action, plenty of humorous scenes, and spot-on portrayals of the turtles and Splinter. After seeing it, purchasing the steelbook blu ray was a no-brainer. The Steelbook itself looks really nice and on the back is a picture of the Shredder.

My family thoroughly enjoyed this film! It is well suited for all age groups. The BEST part is definitely the 3D! I buy a lot of 3D movies, and this is one of the best of 2014! I would call it medium to strong 3D at times. It greatly improves the action sequences. If you have the capabilities, do not hesitate to pick up the 3d over the 2D. I just wish the steelbook came with the 3D! (I ended up picking up both.)

Though I don't remember it real well I watched this show as a kid. I know there's a new show on Nickelodeon now. I thought the movie was pretty good after a rent and I thought the steelbook was cool and at a good price so I decided to buy it. I remembered all the characters (Splinter, the turtles, April Oniel, Shredder...) after renting the movie too.

We bought this for my daughter who has an obsession with TMNT. While I still clearly remember the old-school version, and even have them on DVD, this is still a great addition to our movie library. I was really impressed with the Blu Ray picture quality and will likely be purchasing more movies in this format because of it.

I'm a movie addict and love watching great movies and this is one of them that you will watch time and time again. I was so excited to hear they were remaking it and was hoping they were not going to screw it up. After I got over the shock that the turtles looked a little different then before I enjoyed the movie.

Surprisingly, my 6 yr old daughter loves the Ninja Turtles, so we got this for her for Christmas. She absolutely loves the movie. I enjoyed it for the nostalgic feel of the Turtle's return, but there is definitely some cheese factor. I just loved seeing the joy of my daughter's face while watching it.
