Special effects and story are typical Michael Bay but its great to see the beloved characters modernized and on screen again. Video and sound quality of this release are great. I'm a sucker for steelbooks and that influenced me buying this version rather than the 3D release.

This movie is better than many people (and fans of the series) will attest to. I am a diehard Turtles fan and when you watch the movie with comparing to the older movies, it's not bad at all. Some things could have been done better but its a good start for a new generation of TMNT viewers.

The steelbook was very nice and well made. design of the steelbook was great also. the movie was very different from the originals but i like that it was different and something new. shredder was cool looking. only compliant was that the steelbook didnt come with a 3d copy.

Wasn't disappointed but wasn't blown away by this movie. Was a huge teenage mutant ninja turtle fan growing up and loved the originals. This one wasnt awful but not great. Actually caught the second one in theaters and that one blows this out of the water!

My kids loved this, so why not let them enjoy it over and over on DVD.

As a kid I enjoyed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and would rush home after school to see it. I'm a huge Meagan Fox fan she really bought character to April. I loved this movie and how the drama and action unfolded. Great picture quality.

got this 3d dvd because of my 3d tv and tried to play with xbox one. thought xbox one could play 3d dads, but apparently only certain kinds of 3d dads? nothing was wrong with the movie itself but i couldn't get the 3d to work correctly with my setup

Movie is definitely aimed at the kiddos, but for nostalgia's sake, I enjoyed this iteration of the TMNT. This SteelBook is exclusive to Best Buy is probably the best of the "exclusive" packaging that I saw being offered at other retailers.

This movie was fun, and worth the purchase from me. I hesitantly watched thinking it might be trash like the transformers. It actually was pretty fun. Not entirely true to the body of work tmnt has, but a fun enough version to get a watch

saw the movie in theaters couldn't wait till the dvd release I had to get the steelbook came with the mask best believe I put the mask on the only down side I didn't care too much about megan fox's performance but its still a great movie

I don't know if I bought the new storyline around the origin, but it was overall a movie with a new take on the legend, so no real complaints...thoroughly enjoyed watching it in theaters and at home. Bluray of course is amazing.

Wasn't too excited to see this since I'm a fan of the 90's films. But this was better than I expected. The SteelBook packaging is one of the best I've seen in the US. Extras could have been better. Digital copy works with iTunes and UV.

There were mixed reviews about this movie, but knowing that Michael Bay made it I had to give it a shot. Really enjoyed the movie and love that best buy had it in the steelbook edition. Get it at Best Buy and get out the popcorn!

The effects were great and action was awesome. Being a long time fan I might have changed a few things but overall a great movie. Looks amazing in 3D. The only knock is some of the story and/or acting was bad at times.

As a lifelong fan of the Turtles, I was very excited for this film. While, it is not as great as the classic ones from the 90's, it is still a good watch on its own. If you are a fan of the Turtles, I would recommend.

I purchased this movie for my 4 year old son! He loved watching it in the theaters so I decided to purchase it for his birthday this year! I have fond memories of watching the original movies and cartoons growing up.

Folks, it's no exaggeration when I say this one is bad. And I'm not just reviewing it as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The Ninja Turtles are a lore. Every telling of the story deserves its own version, like Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, or Batman. Adam West, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck all play different versions of Batman in different universes. Though I have a version of the Turtles I like best, I can set aside that prejudice for this review. It's just a very awful film. It's so bad, I don't understand how the current rating stands at 6 stars.

This is an amazing blu-ray looks and sounds amazing the steelbook was in great condition but the masks that come with it is a little misleading, it says comes with all four but you get two and they reverse.

This movie gets a lot of flack, but I rather enjoyed it and, most importantly, my kid loved it. It's a fun movie. It's not as good as the first, but it is on the same level as the others in my opinion.

One of the best movies I have seen this year. Not just a kids movie like people assume. I'm 23 husband's 28 and we saw this in theaters and went right out to buy it would give it more like a 10 star!!
