The editing was was not good. I would stick with the last release if I was you.

I picked this up one of the times it was $10 or less. Finally got a chance to watch it this last week. It is super clear, absent the grain. I thought it was just fine. I still love this movie and if I want to see it in less quality I'll pop in the regular blu ray or DVD if I still have that somewhere around here. I'm excited to see what the other James Cameron 4K releases look like soon here.

For many years now, Terminator 2 has been viewed as one of the greatest sequels of all time, and those that say that are correct. Everything is bigger and better in this film. It revolutionized CGI in film with the T-1000, played by Robert Patrick, and packs a giant emotional punch at the end. Great movie.

Hands down one of the greatest action movies ever made. Terminator 2 transcends all limits of a spectacular blockbuster and is undoubtedly a striking masterpiece. If not for the obvious spoiler regarding the Terminator and the protector given out in the media, the film surely has one of the greatest plot twists ever, which works more or less because of what the prequel did. Terminator 2, while as action-packed to the core as The Terminator, also adds more visual flair and wider appeal to it. It somehow does away with the indie feel the prequel had, and this transition is smoothly done. Arnold Schwarzenegger's performance hits home and that's when you realize he's really "back." The visual effects in this film are extraordinary. Even if you keep aside the time it came out in, they are impressive even in general. No doubt it has influenced countless sci-fi action films to follow, including its own sequels, but it has itself stood out as one of the greatest pieces in this genre. This simple action filmmaking formula of blending a unique concept with stylish action sequences and state-of-the-art CGI is utilized to the fullest by director James Cameron, who has to be commended for his spectacular vision. The whole cast and crew have to be similarly lauded for coming together to deliver a timeless action masterpiece that continues to hold up even today. Viewed with the modern eye, Terminator 2 becomes even more special when you realize it's a masterful combination of a modern, futuristic story with the classic, old-school 90's action (big guns, bikes and explosions!). Out of all movies I have seen in the series, this is easily the best one. No doubt how violent or intense the overall product is, there's an unusual family flavor that calls for an all-age viewing. No matter how many movies try to replicate the style that made it an influential action piece, Terminator 2 is the original, outstanding gem and then some. Period.

This movie was revolutionary in the 90's. My favorite movie for soo many years. The graphics don't look amazing in 4K like the did on old TVs but that makes sense to me

This is a rare situation where the sequel is (what I believe) better than the original. I think what really did it for me was the character development of John Connor, I mean in the first movie all you hear about is this prodigy child. Here we get to see John Connor enter the war and how quickly he matures and understands his role in saving humanity. The bad guy is a step up from Arnold and is really impressive. My favorite scene is the canal scene. I didn't have this movie on dvd and what made it an easy decision was the the better picture quality and audio quality (dts-hd master audio). There are way more extras than what anyone needs, so if you are into that by all means go at it.

This is the best in the franchise by far. It is awesome in blu-ray, the sound and picture are superb. The amount of extras will overwhelm you. The storyline and special effects are awesome. It is so much better in blu-ray. I watch this movie numerous times in a year so I don't mind the price. Linda Hamilton plays a great Sarah Connor and a young Edward Furlong plays a good young John Connor. The movie has everything great acting, action, and great story. Nothing is better than the Terminator. Pick up your copy today.

This is my all time favorite movie and as soon as I bought a blu ray player, this was bought on the same day. Everything about this movie is stunning, even the acting from Arnold Schwarzenegger. Playing a father like cyborg for a young John Connor, Arnold plays the good guy robot on this sequel, and it's simply the best movie ever made. It revolutionized the way an action movie is presented, and started a newer generation for special effects. And while it has the best action a movie could possibly have, it's also one of the saddest movies I've seen. Terminator 2 is the my favorite movie, and the best from the mind of James Cameron. Highly recommended!

"Terminator 2," what can I say about this movie? This film is a classic and it started a revolution for a new standard in action movies of its time. This film tops the first Terminator by far, which makes the franchise great. Though some of the acting may seen dull and overplayed, it does not fail the movie itself. Anyways, you are here to see the Terminator in all its glory and the insane action. The story is superb and it ties well into the previous film. Overall, I recommend that that you pick up a copy. "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" is awesome!

Set 10 years after the first Terminator, future savior of humanity John Connor (Edward Furlong) one day finds himself and his institutionalized mom Sarah (Linda Hamilton again) targeted by the unstoppable shape-shifting T-1000 (Robert Patrick) who has been sent back in time to finish the job the first Terminator failed. Their only hope lies with another reprogrammed Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) sent to protect them. Arnold & Linda are both great, but Patrick steals the show, creating a new unique villain without falling into the trap of becoming an Arnold-knockoff (which certainly would've occurred with a lesser actor in the role). The suspense & SFX are notches above those from the first film. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the script, which falls into the time travel plotholes which the first film cleverly managed to avoid.

One of the most gorgeous steelbook on the rack at the store of one of the best Hollywood sci-fi movie - had to buy it. A steal at the price. Nothing needs to be said about the movie. The steelbook is gorgeous - a beautiful addition to any BluRay collection. To top it, the steelbook comes with the UV Digital Copy which is a great addition over the regular copy of the movie. Arnold said he will be back, and he is back with a bang with this gorgeouus steel.

Pre-ordered mine when it first went up. Waited over a year for the product. Pros: Movie is great, esp the 4k edition. Wish it was the extended but thats fine. Either way movie picture and sound are best. Cons: The "endoarm". For the price of this item, i was expecting something made of metal or some kind of metal. But its made completly of plastic. You cant even bend the fingers or anything. Would have been cooler if was metal and moveable but atlast it wasnt. Shame, i got a low number on the version. Prob going to return, 150+ for a plastic arm seems a bit expensive

Ever since this release was announced, I had to have it! It originally was a UK only item, but was made available in the states. It had many setbacks, but it was well worth the wait! Not as much detail as in the Endo Skull release, but looks stunning next to it! I feel sorry for anyone who missed out on this.

Movie is obviously amazing but this review is about the disc itself. I tried playing this in my Xbox One S on my 4K TV and it would not play due to an HDCP compliance issue. I believe it’s the cord but all the ones I own are older unfortunately. You may have to purchase a new HDMI cord before you can watch this movie.

I seen this movie so many times on blu Ray and I can definitely see the difference in picture quality! Virtually zero grain, vivid colors, deep blacks! I never seen this movie look so good! This is one of the best movies all time! Definitely pick this movie up if you have a 4k TV or terminator fan!

I love my wife. I love my wife’s voice. But sometimes I love peace and quiet. So if you want a reason to have your wife not talk to you for a day or two, then I’d highly recommend this item.
