You can’t go wrong with a classic like this. While some of the special effects are dated the upscale doesn’t detract from the overall movie. And since this is the director’s cut you are getting the best cut of the film.

There are mixed reviews on this 4K remaster all over the internet. The reason is that they used a lot of digital smoothing and it effects the faces of the actors in the movie from time to time. The effect that it has in the rest of the movie including the crisp clean backgrounds, special effects, gunfire and explosions makes it all worth it for me. My wife had never seen the movie and when the credits rolled and showed the copyright 1991 she looked at me and said. “I can’t believe that movie is 28 years old”. That’s the best way I can put it. There are plenty of old rerealeses that show their age but this movie looks modern and beautiful.

This is probably Arnold's best action movie. This is a must have anyone's movie collection. T2 in 4K? DUHHHHH.

In my opinion, great transfer of movie for 4k. If you liked T2 in standard BluRay, you will love this disc.

Now this masterpiece is my all time favorite film. I own it on VHS, DVD, Blu Ray and now 4k. I've seen this film, no exaggeration over 1000 times. Being born in 1990 its the most perfect film for me.

The Original that introduced to us A frightening Future but at the same time introduced to us someone people could barely pronounced much less spell his name. The movie too was not suppose to have been a hit and launched a franchise of movies 40 years later and still going strong. His name is Arnold Schwarzenegger an Austrian and probably one of the biggest action stars ever to come out of Hollywood and former Governator from the Great state of California. It’s not easy to improve upon from the Original, but it not only did that but was equally as good some could say better than the First Terminator. The special affects at the time was groundbreaking to say the least. The story line as well as the acting of everyone from Arnold to Linda Hamilton and a Edward Furlong a new comer then helped make Terminator 2 Judgement Day what it is. An instant Classic.

the film looks great in 4K. It looks like a brand new movie even though it came out almost 30 years ago

This is a perfect 4K movie! The quality is crisp. I own this on Bluray and now 4K and the 4k not only looks better, but it sounds clearer too. If you’re a fan of the Terminator 2 movie, this is a must buy for the collection!

For a film not shot in 4K, the grainy nature doesn’t detract from stunning audio and immersive imagery.

This looks amazing and sounds awesome in UHD. Definitely worth getting if you don’t have it already

The best movie in the series with 4k visuals. A must see before the new movie hits theaters!

With the new Terminator coming out I wanted to start watching the previous ones to get a little refresh on the characters, timeline etc. I was surprised I was missing T2 so I went out and got this one. The 4k was on sale so I went with the upgrade. I have to say it was worth it. Compared to the others that I own on blu ray, you can see an improvement. The movie itself is good if you are into these kind of shows. I think T2 is the best of the series, which is why it surprised me to find out it was the one I didn't own.

T2 is a great movie the steelbook looks cool. Though besides upgrading the resolution of the film. how many times this came out, idk? Product is pretty cool though

The best of the best of the Arnold Swarzeneggar movies (if not one of the best science-fiction movies ever) of all time worth owning and watching over and over again.

One of my all time favorite movies. Terminator 2 tops the first film, which is also a great film. Lots of action, and great special effects. The steelbook looks absolutely fantastic too.
