Not many sequels can compare to the first, but T2 comes very close. A great deal and a great action movie.

Nice 4K Ultra HD quality, really loved it, it was really good to see this movie again on HD picture quality.

In many ways, the first one was better this sequel, but when it comes to bubblegum action, this film is top notch. I would also recommend Aliens for a similar experience.

Many T2 fans seems to think that this is one of the worst 4K releases to date. I am glad that I purchased ($7.99) and now have this 4K physical copy. However, I also hold onto my other Blu-Ray copy for its appreciated value... Aside from a different color timing and grain reduction/digital smoothing, Cameron did make many, somewhat-obvious changes to the source (like George Lucas did to the original Star Wars). Frankly, that is somewhat regrettable. Changes were straightening the knife stabbing shot at the biker bar/billiards/restaurant near the beginning, erasing the T-1000's "private" parts as he crouched beside his first kill (making him asexual?), keeping the glass from falling off the 18-wheeler's front after the T-1000 drove it off the bridge, and superimposing Arnold's face onto his stuntman's face as the T-800 (Model 101) drives the bike off the ledge (and racing from the exploding 18-wheeler). Were these all necessary? If Cameron refrained from making these changes and stuck to the original completely, then in my opinion, you'd have an awesome 4K (even if stuntmen were recognizable). I really like the picture quality (colors and contrast), and think the sound is amazing (crispness and range levels). But the question of whether or not you buy this release I think solely comes down to how much of a purist you are.

A James Cameron approved 4k transfer and amazing artwork make this a must have.

Movie does not look that great in 4K but the steelbook looks great at least.

I already owned this movie on Blu-Ray, but I'm pretty sure it would cost more that $5 just to get the Digital Copy so this purchase was a no-brainer.

The best terminator movie in an upscaled 4k resolution

This version removed all of the grain on the film and added the revisions that pestered Cameron in regards to the editing. Sound is lossless.
