Terminator: Dark Fate is by no means a stellar movie - nothing will ever touch the original Terminator or Judgement Day. This new movie does a lot of stupid things with the storyline, but Arnold turns in another great, even unexpectedly hilarious, performance. Linda Hamilton does a great job of portraying an even more world-weary, psychologically unsound Sarah Connor. With all the lackluster sequels that have come out over the years, Dark Fate is at least worth the watch, even if it is mainly to see Hamilton and Schwarzenegger back on screen together.

Packed with action and great performances from returning stalwarts Linda Hamilton and Schwarzenegger and newcomers Mackenzie Davis and Gabriel Luna, Terminator: Dark Fate tries to add purpose to a franchise on life support. Either too much too late or too little too late, fans are decidedly split on the results for this possible final bow from the series. Sagging box office aside, Paramount delivers one hell of a beautiful 4K UHD Blu-ray presentation with a rocking robust Dolby Atmos audio track and a practically pristine native 4K Dolby Vision transfer.

Great movie with nice visual effects. Overall quality is good and extras that come with it are also great.

First off let’s clarify that James Cameron was bunting heads with the director in terms of the creative process which is why it didn’t really appeal to many Terminator fans. Overall it accomplishes being a good CGI action movie but in terms of story, they dropped the ball on this one. Nice video and audio quality for those with high end home theaters though. Beautiful Steelbook as well. I recommend it for the A/V presentation & Steelbook art.

Very good story. One of the best Terminator movies yet. Really enjoyed story line. Great seeing original cast again. Highly recommend this movie.

Having Linda Hamilton back in the franchise was an excellent idea, ,great special effects,,overall one of the best from the terminator universe!

Shocking opening. Story does take a twist from what has been seen before. Overall an enjoyable, action packed film. Always great to see Arnold.

I've seen a number of negative reviews for this film but I really enjoyed this movie. I thought the story could have been better, but I thought the acting, action sequences and humor made up for it. It reminded me of T1 and T2 which is a good thing. I enjoyed myself and that's the whole point. Some people just take it too far with the criticism. It's just a movie and a decent one. It isn't perfect but it's a fun movie to go watch that has some heart to it. And since this film begins an alternate time line, I am interested to see where it might go. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to escape and have a good time.

I had heard this movie tried to get back to the roots of the first Terminator movie with the scenes and action. That seldom works well, so I went into it expecting this to be mildy entertaining with a tinge of buyer's remorse. I was actually surprised at the entertainment of it and the sequences. The time continuum felt VERY off, but overall, it was fun to watch and we will watch it again. To explain the feeling of the time being off, the lynchpin character looks to be almost the same age as when she is being rescued, but the technological advancements would infer more than a couple decades of time would have passed.

This was honestly the best Terminator since judgement day. Only 1 scene I can truly pick on thr cgi in the very beginning when the rev 9 is chasing them up the catwalk, that jump was just HORRIBLE! The idea of the rev 9 I really liked, the "future soldier" idea to combat terminators was another cool throw in. Dani though, I'm sorry I can't buy as a future badass in any respect. Linda Hamilton, well she's the mother of the resistance and seeing her back was AWESOME! "Carl" talking about his business is hysterical. There's a few scenes that have you laughing, but overall it was an absolutely addition to the line.

I loved this sequel. No different than the ones before where action and running and trying to survive is the first thought. I remember as an adult seeing the first Terminator and many of the firsts of Sci-fi, so, hearing some folks putting down something because a female is the main fighter or what not is bad. The first movie was not a masterpiece, remember that, but it was badaxx . I still find the notion of terminators to be badaxx . BF deals on 4k allowed me to buy this at a great price.

Great job getting original with this umpteenth sequel. The story was cool and well thought out. The action was really good and it has a great sound to it.

I enjoyed this movie because it has a lot of action. It was entertaining from the beginning to the end.

My husband and I watched this movie. It was full of action and excitement. Not the best Terminator movie but definitely worth watching.

Overall a fairly well done movie. Arnold really wasn't necessary for the story and it would have been better served with more dialogue time to flesh out the main actors. Good action. Good effects. Reasonable flashback sequences. Not a fan of the Arnie ending, as it was too predictable. Would have preferred a German Shephard in the back of the jeep at the end, for personal amusement. There wasn't much point to replacing Skynet from the storyline if there wasn't going to be some existential discussion about changing the future and it's ramifications.

Still worth watching even though like many other sequels it’s overdone.but the special effects were great

It was different but still good. Had a good amount of action scenes and its great to have Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger back in this role.

Terminator Dark Fate was “good entertainment”. It was a typical Terminator movie. The movie held my attention, but it was not surprising like the original movie. Dark Fate was predictable. Both Arnold Schwarzenegger’s and Linda Hamilton’s performances were perfect. Linda kicked butt like always and Arnold expressed feelings/compassion. One could feel them handing over the movie series to the next cast of characters to continue the series. This was not my favorite episode, but it was fun.

This movie is worth having for your collection. Great to see Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger together again in this movie.

Great action packed movie. I love watch terminator movies all of them. I really did enjoy watching this movie with my family. I recommend you to buy this movie.
