Original theme still solid complete with subtle biplays but with a twist. Main empathy is switched to the machine subcharacter. First viewing is good. Subsequent viewings allow references to prior episode catch lines to have a greater impact and to tie strands together. Some are very obvious, some more oblique. It's fun to look for the less obvious.

My experience so far with blue ray is you need light in the movie. Cartoons seem to be the best, although harry potter was playing at the store on blue when i bought one. This move is is dark, and you don't get to appreciate a lot of the dvd the blue shows. Maybe the future "green ray" (biodegradeable disks) will work better for darker movies...

The picture & sound kis awesome on this Blu Ray! The plot is stale if you're already famaliar with the previous Terminator flicks. This "R" rated Director's Cut is only 2 additional minutes longer than the Theatrcal Version, which includes a brief topless scene & someone getting stabbed with a screwdriver. Overall this is worth getting!!!

The movie was not the best movie in the world, but it was action packed and the Bluray disc makes the movie-viewing experience pretty stellar. The acting was cheesy in a few scenes, but overall it was alright. There was a lack of terminators in the movie. The main reason this Bluray was purchased was because it included a digital copy.

This is a great movie. Despite what some people said about this film I decided to see and I was not at all disappointed. Christian Bale and Sam Worthington do a great job with the lead roles. There are some great effects in this movie as well. I would recommend this movie to anyone who liked any of the other Terminators.

Terminator Salvation finally lets viewers see the actual war against the machines. Great action sequences and special effects. Acting is solid also. However, there are a lot of unanswered questions which hints at a possible sequel. Overall, the new direction which now takes place during the war is a great one to take.

Love the movie, especially in the blu-ray format. Didn't get to see it in the big screen, but the blu-ray format makes up for missing it in the big screen. Action is very good, the special effects, speechless. The only thing I didn't like was role of John Connor's wife. They are suppose to be in a war. Everybody looks like they haven't shower for days but John Connor's wife is always well dress, even has time to put on her make up. Besides that, the movie was great. Just regret that didn't get to see it in the big screen

Overall a good movie, except McG seems to be following the Micheal Baye school of film making, Special Effects over story line, but at least their is one. Christain Bale seems to be channeling his Batman Charater through out the movie. Next Terminator movie, replace McG and Bale, should be really good film.

The movie is excellent, I am a big fan of the first three terminator movies and this movie just fits into this story line of john connors continuous fight against the machines. I 've already watched the movie 3 times. What I'm happy about is that it's not over because was annouced that there will be a part 5 & 6 of the terminator franchise, can't wait to see those movies take off from part 4(salvation).

This was a great movie, Terminator salvation was gritty and dark overall and I Gave it 4 stars because it seemed like it was lacking something, what it waslacking more classic Terminators, though I think they might have this in the next installment. Athey ommited the human experiments.

Even though some people may tell you that this movie isn't any good, I think it fits well into the Terminator franchise. It's a decent action flick, in general, but it does have a good story, too.

It was action packed with twisting plots and evolving characters that explained alot of the holes the first 3 terminators left out. Also it is a great movie for someone who has not seen the terminator series cause it raps it up with no loose ends in my oppinion.

Christian Bale is convincing as John Connor. A ripple is thrown in when we find that he is not the number one person on the terminator hit list. Character development of the "number one" is great. The movie has great entertainment value.

I would put this movie in the class of the first movie. Part 2 and 3 were better. I had high hopes for this one. They seem to make the previews now days look better than the movie. I seen both versions of the movie and noticed that there was a clip in the trailer that wasn't in the movie. The part were the red head girl is screaming during an explosion. The movie just had that syfi tv channel movie feel to it. The worst part about the movie was the c.g.i. of Alnarld. So fake looking. The movie did need to be done to kind of finish the story. Now what I find is funny is that. None Star Trek fans like the new Star Trek better than the T4. As did I.

I loved this movie. The blu-ray quality is out of this world. The sound, and i only have 2.1 surround but it's outstanding! This is the best Terminator movie ever made, very realistic no super heroes for the most part. Although I doubt they could of pulled off what they did in the end, the whole movie from start to finish was interesting and captivating. Thanks!

I ordered the Director's Cut/Blu ray. After all the negative reviews, I was worried about my purchase thinking the movie was not going to be great. It was an excellent piece of Sci-Fi. The story was great. Even better was watching it on 120 inch 2.35:1 screen with JVC rs-10 projector and 7.1 channels of sound.

Great Mc G rendition of the Termintor series. Going beyond of his Charile's Angles' slick , the director comes through in a cinema of the franchise where a new Terminator emcompass the the previous persona into a brash super hero. Cool! and also aciton endowed! The Blu=Ray WB moblie digital copy is a plus!

My son wanted it for Christmas. He saw it in the theater and loved it. The blu ray was a very nice copy. Not my kinds of movie, but he liked it and that's what counts.

Great looking movie on Blu Ray. Far better than Terminator 3. Fans of the franchise should be happy with this one but sadly (and hopefully), it should end here.
