My son needed it for SAT/ACT and is the one he is familiar with already from school. The color screen is a plus. Lots of features to use for many areas of study. I always prefer TI products as well.

I've been using Ti products since I was in high school. I bought this for my son expecting to use the typical 4 batteries and was pleasantly surprised to see it's rechargeable!

We purchase this as a gift. Our granddaughter had looked at this and approved it for Christmas. The agent that worked with us on the purchase was very good. He said he would use and that it would work for her classes for several years.

I had lost my TI-84 Plus and needed another, and I decided to go with the Plus CE a and love it much more than the Plus. The nicer reaolution, faster processing power,and colored graphs make it much more useful.

Brought it for my daughter for her Statistics class. Easy to use and no need for batteries as the old model. This comes with a portable charger and last a long time after a full charge. can also be charge using a phone charger too.

Bought this for my daughter for High School, it does everything thing that she needs for class. Instructions cover everything and all the functions.

Picked up this calculator for my Stats class and I have to say, I'm quite impressed with it. Wasn't excited about buying a calculator before I purchased it but I'm really happy with the backlight and how easy it is to use.

I purchased this calculator for my son and his pre-calculus class. He has not expressed any issues with it. Glad he has the color display. And heck, is getting good grades in the class. So nothing to complain about here.

Bought the older non color version for my daughter who used it in high school and now college. Son gets the new color version for middle and high school. Seems to do everything well. Does everything it is supposed to.

I bought two of these actually - one for my son entering college and one for my son who is a Junior in high school. Because of the range of capabilities and application, both of them will be able to use them for the rest of their schooling.
