So your kid is in high school and you fined out yet again that this is a requirement so what do you do where do you go. Amazon almost full price and 5 days. Walmart out of stock and online more than regular full price. Target no luck. Rando online retailers good luck with getting the correct model for the correct price. Go to Best Buy and what do you know they have the current model in black and white or color at sales prices in stock and associates eager to unlock them and move you along. Thank you Best Buy. For you parents that know most kids won't use this paperweight be a good parent an go to Best Buy. For those of you that know your kid will use the heck out of this just go to best Buy and get the color version. Easy to recharge. EXACTLY what the teachers require. The planet will run out of stock every year before high school starts. Buy now!

This Calculator is the very best TI 84 Graphing Calculator ever! It works better than the older models. I love being able to see the graphing results in different colors too. When I bring this calculator to Algebra class, other students are very much interested in its graphing features. Finally, thanks to Best Buy, I was able to purchase this very user-friendly calculator for a great price.

Love that this guy is rechargeable. Haven't had to recharge it yet at all, but it's a good feature instead of having to worry about batteries failing during a test or a late night homework session. You can view battery status on-screen, so you'd know to charge it before a test if needed. Everything functions as it's supposed to. It does a lot more than I'd ever need it for (calculus stuff). It DID take me a little bit to get familiar with it as I hadn't used a calculator like this in over 20 years. The color screen is great when looking at different functions at the same time, whether it's piecewise or just differentiations. I know there's a Casio out there that does pretty much identical things, but I've always trusted TI, and it seems most universities do as well.

If you have any older model of this calculator then it's pretty much the same just slimmer and faster. Personally I would say if you don't have the money to upgrade then don't. Don't get me wrong it's an absolutely great calculator and I definitely recommend it if you have a much much older calculator or are looking for your first.

This was just what my grandson needed for his class. I can’t say enough about purchasing through Best Buy. When I found out he needed one, I had my daughter send me pictures of what was required for his class. I found it on the Best Buy website, sent her a picture of it and let her know it would be delivered the next day. Which was great in itself, but it gets better. She called me and asked if I could cancel my order, I asked her why. She said it is online $30 cheaper at Walmart. I said no, I did not have to cancel my order because Best Buy would price match. This is why I am a repeat customer at Best Buy, their customer service.

My step son is in Calculus, this is the best Graphing Calculator out there for the price!

This model is required by my daughters high school, not a bad calculator. Easy to read and has all of the functionality you would expect plenty of memory, and the battery charge lasts a long time. In a classroom environment if the instructor is using the TI Interactive software, the ability to send problems to the students, and check their work remotely is a huge plus. However if you are looking for 'THE' Graphing calculator and do not mind spending a little more, the HP Prime is my go to at work, and is well used. By far the best choice.

There are simpler and cheaper calculators to use for Geometry and Algebra 1, but this is the calculator to get for Algebra 2, Precalculus, Functions-Stats-Trig, and higher math. The first one I bought had a defective battery, but Best Buy replaced it quickly with a perfect unit. Glad I purchased locally rather than from an online-only seller.

I love this product so much that I named her Tiffany. Trust me when I tell you that I didn't name any of the calculators I bought before Tiffany- and that's just about every cheaper calculator you can imagine. If it were not for Tiffany, I would not have made an A in my pre-stats AND stats classes. Obviously I had to put the work in and do my homework, but with the color screen and her pretty, sleek design- I suspect I enjoyed doing my homework more than my classmates did. Although Tiffany came with a fairly comprehensive instruction manual I found the best instructions via a lot of YouTube googling, and I would suggest other buyers to do the same. Also, don't forget the charger at home! This calculator does everything and the battery lasts a long time... but when it's donezo it's donezo, so bring your charger with you.

Perfect for calculus class. Good quality and convenient.

My daughter needed a calculator for math her 9th grade year. This one was recommended my the school but the one that was a step below would have been acceptable and was the one required however I opted to get this one since she would need it eventually. The calculator is easy for her to use and the screen is very nice. The battery life is very descent. I would recommend you find a back up charger in addition to the one that you get as teens do tend to misplace things. However it does use the older charger so if you have one from an old phone that may work for you. Overall very satisfied with the purchase and I would recommend this product based on the feedback I got from my daughters use of it.

You can’t beat the functions of this calculator! Plus the ability to search for exactly what you need online and drive to pick it up make shopping at Best Buy so simple.

This calculator is exactly what I needed for college math. I previously had the TI-83 and that is a great calculator but this one goes a couple steps ahead with a color screen! This may seem like no big deal but the color comes in handy when you need to graph multiple things at once, because you can clearly see which is which when they’re different colors! It also charges through USB which is nicer for me than changing out batteries. It is super easy to use and there are all kinds of tutorials on YouTube and other places to show you all of the things it can do beyond simple math. The functionality of this thing is incredible! I would recommend it to anyone going into any sort of advanced high school or beyond math, and you probably won’t ever need anything else!

I had to get this scientific calculator for finance and statistics classes I was taking, but it is capable of so much more. USB-B is a weird cable for charging/data updates but it is included. Best Buy was gracious enough to price match Staples when I bought this.
