This is a great calculator for students to use in school.

I purchased this calculator for my stepson. His teacher recommended it for all of the students in the Algebra 3 class. It has really helped improve his math grade!

Same as the one we purchased 4 years ago, easy to use

I bought this for my 8th grader to use in Algebra I who states that it is great for doing scatter plot. We anticipate to use it more in high school.

Overpriced, forced to have one for school. Overrated

My son love his new TI-84+ CE Graphing Calculator, He loves how light it is compared to the one he was using before, also it comes with a charging device.

I was helped by the manager and he recommended this brand and I also made a price adjustment this was very helpful and great

I made a decision to purchase due to short delivery but it didn’t delivered on time. I had very tight schedule during business trip.

This is NOT a calculator to use for any real math. If you are being taught Common Core math, it might be OK for middle school. Hard to find settings, hard to find equal sign, and solver requires a guess. Ridiculous! Spend the extra few $$ and get a TI-89.

Required for my daughters math class this Fall, we got one of two left on the shelve! Jr Year in HS.

I didn't need all the advanced features on this calculator

The battery did not charge out the pack and was returned. The calculator has a known charging issue.

Nice enough calculator for the price. Meets the needs for my high schooler

This was great for my son for his 11th grade math class.

I bought it for class that I had to take and only used it once. I never got the just of how to use and learned the math the old fashion way.

I remember Texas Instruments offered multiple colors in previous years of this model. We hated the black.

I say in a comparison manner because roughly a year ago I had the then (and I believe still) latest graphing calculator from Casio, mainly for the price of roughly $50, but also because I still have a scientific calculator from Casio that I love. It’s ability to graph is both more limited and more complicated to fully understand. Simply not nearly as user friendly. Meanwhile back in the mid to late 90’s I had a TI-83 (standard version) graphing calculator that was great and easy to operate and understand, once initially learned that is. So basically I gave up on solid progress with the Casio graphing calculator and switched to one of the better & current models of graphing calculators from Texas Instruments, specifically the TI-84 Plus CE. Not only more advanced than my old original TI-83, but also one with a color screen and rechargeable battery. While more advanced than my old TI-83 much of programming it for graphing equations remains largely the same, making for an easy to adapt transition from old to new. I’ve only had it about a week so far, so I can’t speak on anything long term, but initial impressions are great and well above what I was expecting. Perhaps more costly than Texas Instruments current basic graphing calculator with their TI-83 Plus model, but a rechargeable battery and color screen certainly go a long way in helping justify the added expense. Would absolutely recommend for either a student or someone who like me is way into mathematics.
