Relatively expensive, but cannot go the other way as schools keep recommending this brand. Does the job well.

We bought this for our son to use at school and for use on the PSAT. Our son reported it works well and is very useful for his classes. He used it for some questions on the PSAT which help him complete the test faster

This is a fancier color version of TI-84. Not sure if my high school would have approved of this model because of all its bells and whistles. You can also hack it and convert it to play NES games. To be honest, for school, TI-83, 84 would be more than enough. However, if you want something fancy go for this one.

The Texas Instrument Graphing Calculator is an amazing package. It will take me some time to explore al of its features, but actually quite intuitive to use right out of the box. A winner!

This is a great calculator! It it does everything I need it to do for my college math classes. I love how you can download apps to it and that it's rechargeable via USB. Sure, you can can have all these functions and more on your cell phone, but you can't use your cell in class.

This calculator is very helpful with all functions required for Statistics class and the keypad also is very easy on fingers.

It is what it is, but the color screen and rechargable battery is very nice. TI stands behind their products as well, which is nice so if you have issues with the batteries, as the first batch of 84 CE did, it was nice to not have to worry with what TI would do. Well worth the purchase.

This is a new color version of the old classic Ti-84. The colors are very helpful when graphing. The calculator is also faster than it's predecessor (Ti-84). A great buy. If you are rough with with your calculator, I recommend buying an after market case.

Overall works well, but has inconsistent handling of pemdas. When plotting /4x, it handled the x as the implied divisor. When using /4pi instead, it multiplied via PEMDAS. Due to the display, this difference was not immediately noticeable.

My daughter is taking a pre-ap geometry and she needed a graphing calculator, so before I made my purchase, I researched the graphing calculators to see which one would be better. Well, she liked this one and I went into Best Buy and purchased it. Well, she has started school and has enjoyed this calculator very much!

This calc was on my daughters school supply list. I wanted to get her an HP Prime since I am use to this model and could help her navigate through it, but the teacher was adamant about this model. It's not bad has a decent amount of memory, the ability to script macro-ish functionality, and can do what would be expected in a Highschool class. If you are looking for a engineering grade monster of a graphing calc the HP Prime would be my suggestion.

Invaluable in class during class instruction. Teachers allow it and I love the ease of use.

needed this style of calculator for my son (required) went a little extra and bought this one . he loves the color display and the quality speaks for its self. Texas Instruments are excellent products.

I got one of these for my daughter when she entered middle school pre-algebra. I could have gone with a less expensive model, but would have had to buy this one eventually. She used it all three years of middle school and is still using in High school calculus. I bought this one for my son who is starting pre-algebra this year.

Daughter had to have this for 9th grade math. Best Buy priced matched an online price and I was able to walk out with it and get points!!!! So much for having to order it to get the best price. This is the top of the line calculator that students need and glad they had it in the color my daughter wanted

Purchased for my Grandson to use in High School Math, Chemistry, and Physics classes. Really top-notch and extremely useful!

I was hesitant to purchase this calculator considering it was over $100 dollars. I couldn't be more pleased as the design is thinner than the traditional T1-84. It doesn't take regular batteries so that is a plus because the battery will last for days on a single charge.

High School Math class requirement. The student seems to understand all those crazy buttons and is getting an A so.... if they need a graphing calculator I recommend this one!
