Worth the extra $

I got him this one which graphs in color for a little more. I think the upgrade was worth the cost. As for the calc itself, it has a nice, big color screen which helps when viewing the graphs. It's a nice size - not too big, not too small, is programmable, has a case, and comes with a USB cord for connectivity.

Long lasting charge and easy to use

It's very easy to learn all the graphing features and generic/ advanced calculations, without any help. It has been in use for 3 to 4 hrs a day and charge lasts for a week or more.

hard to justify cost - but needed

Hate that it costs so much, but screen looks great and it is the best yet. no need to dig into manual yet - is fairly intuitive
