Does what I need it to do for school. I’ll either keep it forever for my kid or resell it. They last forever.

Daughter needed a graphing calculator for a college course. We chose this one which is more than what she needed now, but is capable for future, more advanced classes. She's happy with it. Big difference with the color screen. Good quality from a trusted brand.

Best Calculator! It does a little bit of everything.I bought them for Junior High Math this year..My older children had an older version of these and have used them all through College.

Awesome! The calculator is fantastic and even my chemistry professor loves it. It’s got the periodic table on it!! And so many more little helpful things. The help was great, workers showed me right where to find them. A little pricey but that’s just because I’m broke. But it was worth the money.

This graphing calculator is fast and holds a charge for a very long time. Programing and graphing are also easy.

This is an expensive piece of necessary equipment in more advanced mathematics. We are hoping the color display adds to the utility and isn’t just a gimmick. We like that the battery is rechargeable as it should hopefully save batteries from the trash heap and help reduce environmental pollution. It does look like these newer models are more locked down software-wise which we don’t think we like since it limits opportunities for learning and experimenting.

I grew up using TI calculators. In my role as a project manager, I have used the standard desktop calculators typically for finance and basic math. I needed more functionality and the TI-84 CE fit the bill perfectly. Plus it takes me back down memory lane!

Relatively expensive, but cannot go the other way as schools keep recommending this brand. Does the job well.

The Ti-84 Plus CE is a sort of premium calculator if you're looking to do any math such as Calculus and below. I've only had it for a bit, but just the LCD screen itself makes this worth it, especially the colors and when using it at night. It's also nice that instead of constantly replacing batteries you can charge it. Also it seems that there is a 1-year warranty so that's good! For what seems to be around $30-$50 more than the regular Ti-84, it definitely is worth it.

First, this is an amazing calculator... but a $2 app on my iPad or iPhone does exactly the same work with an identical user interface. So why is this 10 year old calc still on the market? Because it is oddly required for high school math, SATs and ACTs by make and model. Don’t know just how TI got away with that.

Feels a little light, and I usually associate weight with quality, but this might just be the exception. High quality product, works great, the screen is exceptional, and the buttons feel high quality. Rechargeable battery is great, and they provide a cable and a brick which is nice. They also provide a cable to transfer data from other calculators over to this one. If you need a calculator for the SAT, for an AP test, or for calculus or college math, I can't recommend this enough.

Invaluable in class during class instruction. Teachers allow it and I love the ease of use.

The addition of color to the graph feature is an excellent upgrade to the original TI-84. My granddaughter was borrowing my old -84 when I bought this one as a gift for her upcoming college days. She is extremely pleased.

Overall works well, but has inconsistent handling of pemdas. When plotting /4x, it handled the x as the implied divisor. When using /4pi instead, it multiplied via PEMDAS. Due to the display, this difference was not immediately noticeable.

Purchased this for my 2nd high school student who needs it for math and chemistry classes; plus it will be used for upcoming SAT and ACT and future math & physics classes, plus college courses. Other one was purchased 3 years ago for older child who now continues to use that one in college.

This calculator is very helpful with all functions required for Statistics class and the keypad also is very easy on fingers.

Easy to use, beautiful clear screen and awesome precise graphing. Honestly super impressed with this calculator!

Bought this for my teenager who needed it for a math class after the first one stopped working. Preferred this model for the rechargeable battery. My child loves it! Easy to use and program. Very intuitive and it's the standard model the school teacher tells them to get. Should last all the way through college with its program capabilities.
