I’ve had an 83 before which was good, but the 84 corrected a lot of things like clearer picture and adding color. I also like the fact that it has a charger and doesn’t rely on batteries anymore.

I bought it for my 9th grader. The teacher recommended it. Needed for school work as well as competition maths. He said its the best. The bad thing is he lost the charger and i had to buy another charger :-(

Great calculator! Well worth the investment. The lines are actually straight and clear, and easier to see than on the base model. I'm glad we went for the upgrade!

I needed a TI-84 as a requirement for class and I decided to check out the Best Buy website. I noticed they had 10% off (which is better than nothing) the TI-84 plus and TI-84 plus + CE as a Student Deal. Prior to buying I checked other websites to check the price to see if buying it here would be my cheapest option. Since I couldn’t find another close retailer with the same price I went in to buy it. I chose this particular model because of the rechargeable battery and interface. So far I’ve tested it and it works well, I like that you can adjust the brightness to whatever setting suits you better. Overall I feel it was a great buy.

All teens in my family have needed this calculator for high school Calculus. They have always held up and are being used still during college. Would be great if they were less expensive.

Love this upgrade. Bought for my son who is a freshman in high school . It is helping him a lot during remote calculus..This is a must have for any math student in college or high school

This item was for my grandson so I assume it is excellent as he has not complained.

My son was just starting high school and didn’t need all of the functions on this calculator quite yet, but he takes great care of things and this will last him throughout high school and possibly beyond, so it was well worth it!

This is a great calculator, used for Algebra 2. It is thinner than the TI84 (no CE) and the graphs are better. It needs charging more often. Cable is included so no problem there. You need to learn how to use it.

This is my favorite calculator, the display is such good quality and the different colors for mapping graphs makes it so much easier to work with when having to look at multiple graphs at once.

My grandson is using for college and he said it was easy to learn to use. Purchased at Best Buy for less than the campus bookstore!

Perfect calculator for SAT/ACT prep; battery life is good and there are tons of online tutorials to help maximize its use.

This calculator does it all. I purchased it for my daughter and she very happy with it. She uses it in her calculus class.

Fantastic calculator. Bought for my daughter in Jr High. I fully expect it to last her through college. So much nicer than my TI-83 calculator back in the day. The color graphing is awesome.

This is the perfect instrument for Statistics. Granted it is probably more than the average person may want to spend on a calculator; however, it has made my life a breeze! Be sure to ask for a price match during time of purchase.
