Not like students have a choice on what to get, but as far as calculators go, this is a good one. Powerful enough and relatively well built. Take care of it though, since many students seem to have experienced screen burns on theirs after a year or so of use.

Bought this calc for college algebra. The screen is very bright and clear. Love that it's rechargeable, no batteries needed!
