Almost all high school students are using calculator, and TI-84 plus CE is one of the best. High quality and various functions for scientific calculation. Very useful.

This calculator is great because it recharges. No more batteries. A bit pricey but if you can use it forever because it just recharges via USB. Works just like a graphing calculator.

Great updates! My previous calculator was a TI-83. Since this calculator is not used every day, I no longer have to worry about whether or not I forgot to take the AA batteries out of the TI-83 calculator since it has its own lithium ion battery. Screen: Vibrant colors, especially useful when graphing for convenience and accuracy. Adjustable brightness of the screen is a great feature. Battery life lasts a very long time. Charger is versatile and can be used with a wall outlet and usb for added convenience.

My daughter's school required this for Algebra 2. It is very thing she needs. I like that it has a rechargeable battery and doesn't go through AAA batteries. Color screen is a plus !!

I have been using Texas Instruments calculators for school since the mid 90's and was never disappointed. Since deciding to continue my education this fall I was more than happy to purchase another. After seeing that now the recommended calculator has a color display option, I was excited about this addition to my school supplies. Bring able to distinguish the different equations by color coding has been very useful. Not to mention the colors are very sharp. I definitely recommend the TI-84+ CE Graphing Calculator whether it's main function will be as a tool for school or work.

The schools hijack kids into having to buy these. I got a great deal on it. It has a color screen and rechargeable battery which are pluses over the more basic one. The kids like them.

Expensive but required for child’s school. Does everything needed.

I love my new calculator !! It definitely saved me time and money, it's so easy to use ! I even like the color. It comes with two chargers one for the wall and a small one for the computer. The purchase was made as a gift for a college student taking elementary statistics. I am a retired mathematics and science teacher and I highly recommend Texas Instruments' products. TI stands behind the workmanship and if you have difficulty with manipulations, you can always call the company.

Great calculator. Updated from the ones I use to used in school. This calculator should last him through high school and he is only in the 7th grade.

Grabbed this for Stats class in college. Was a real life saver compared to the online version of a scientific calculator that came with my college text book.
