I have a ti 82 that was given to me years ago & last me. It's very out of date so I decided to upgrade. The Ti 84 Plus calculater is awesome & the fact of the option to add Apps to it just like a smartphone is a bonus!!!

I would have waited and purchased a newer model . While checking around I realize I could have had I newer product for a few more dollars.

Bought it for high school son for math class. So far it works great.

The standard calculator when I was growing was the RPN HP's. But not for my son's generation.

Required for middle school, but will use through college senior. Worth it to get a Texas Instruments.

Purchased for my stepdaughter. Cheaper than the newer models and has same functions. I like how it is battery operated and doesn’t have to be charged like the newer models.

Does what it has to do bit I think it's a little over priced

Before this calculator I used a fx-9860GII from Casio. It worked perfectly and had everything I needed. Got this one because it’s required by school and it can only do half the things my Casio can do. The Casio has over 1gb of memory and a ton of built in tools.

It is a good calculator in general. However, I wish it was a bit easier to navigate.

Really have to make sure you get the version with the backlit screen.
