It gets the job done and is a must have for college students espically those who are taking higher math courses and physics aswell. It has just about every thing you need for diffrent topics of math from trig to regular algebra. Hasnt failed me yet. Battery last long to aslong as you remember to turn the calculator off when done been already 4 months and no change yet.

The calculator the proforme is to slow for the price and sometimes freeze.

Works great for high school and SAT test. Very reliable. My older son is using one for 4 years without issue. Just bought one for my younger son one 7 months ago without issue. Both found it convenient to use. A bit on the chunky side for size.

As an Advanced Algebra teacher in Williamsburg, IA, I highly recommend the TI 84 Plus Graphing Calculator. TI did a great job on the TI-82 that I bought 11 years ago when I was in high school but the improvements have been amazing. The graphs appear quicker and are easier to see and the calculator is just all around easier to use. In addition, the products available to teachers now that go along with the TI-84 Plus make it much easier on us to show the students how to use it.

Easy to use. Has many good features and is light and compact. Good value.

it was my first graphing calculator so i had no idea how to use it at frist, then i slowly got used to it. i never had a problem with it for the 3 years i had and needed it for math class.i would realy stress getting this brand of calculator for a beginer who has no experiance with another type of graphing calculator.

I work in a study lab and keep dealing with different kinds of graphing calculators including Ti 83+, 84+, 84+silver, 86, 89, hp 38g, hp 50g and turn out to find Ti 84+ the best.

This calculator worked perfectly for my classes. The battery life is long and it had all the features needed. The only issue is that it's very overpriced. It is quite basic for the high price. I would only recommend buying it if it is required for a class. Otherwise, buy a cheaper one.

I'm a fan of all TI products, I wasn't sur whether to get the TI-83 plus or this one. I chose this one because of it's easy of use and its capablity of being connected to a computer. Really a great product.

Works for what I need in most of my college math classes. No real extra frills or gimmicks, would have liked it to have been a little smaller, thinner lighter, but that version was still a few months out. Still a solid buy at a reasonable price.

Exactly what my high school student needed. TI always amazing, ever since I was in school over 30 years ago!

This series is tried and true... it has gotten me thru Stats, Trig, Calc.... I love the programmability, power capacity is pretty good and you have plenty of storage for any routines. It is a must have for students and engineers alike.
