My son’s calculus teacher only allow them to use this calculator, not other similar calculators. So, we have to buy this one for our boy.

This calculator was required for my Niece's engineering curriculum. It works as advertised and she loves it. A little pricey but BB will price match the lowest prices out there even those on Amazon. Great calculator at a great price.

College Calculus and engineering classes call for a powerful graphing calculator. So far this one can handle everything my profs throw at it.

As far as graphing calculators go, Texas Instruments make the best ones. I am only buying a new one because the last one was chewed to pieces by my German Shepherd.

This calculator has a good basic solver. I use it for engineering school and it is good at solving ODE's and linear equations. I wish it could solve non linear ODE's and PDE's, but it is not capable from what I have seen.

We just picked on of these up for my son who is in Computer Engineering. It's proving its worth this semester. Very useful and versatile calculator.

Expensive. This is an excellent calculator and it is a required one with the schools. If you are given enough of notice you can get it on sale.
