Down side is if you loose the cord, good luck finding another to buy without having to by the entire calculator set! Would be perfect if you could use both battery and rechargeable so if you were in a bind you weren't out of luck!

Great calculator at a great price.

My daughter loves it and will continue to use it well into her collegiate years. I loved the sale price that I was fortunate enough to get from Best Buy at the time of purchase. I saved over $50 from most every online retailers and didn't have to wait for shipping. Win win.

The good news is that this model will take them through college and into their careers.
