This is an enterraining movie..:ok, not great...90s flick

Average film...special features are rather limited

I love this movie and it’s truly one of my favorites. I was glad to see it finally come to Blu-Ray, however my disc has a skip spot right before the Ohio State Fair performance. I have tried cleaning the disc to no avail. By the time I got around to watching the movie Best Buy’s crappy return/exchange policy had already elapsed so now I’m stuck with a workable disc that skips.

Need a new movie and found this one for such a great prices

Tom Hanks crafts a charming story of a small town band from Erie, Pennsylvania that stumble into one hit wonder stardom. The music that was written for the film is extremely catchy and will be stuck in your head for days. Highly recommended.

The director's cut of this movie improves the movie 100%! Guy's relationship with his girlfriend (Tina) and his friendship with Jimmy's girlfriend (Faye) are enhanced, and the "I am Sparticus" reference finally makes sense. Many other scenes that were originally cut to the quick are restored, improving the storyline. What surprised me is why Tom Hanks allowed the film to be so severely cut in the first place for its initial debut. However, It is a much better film now and deserves to be given another viewing. My only criticism is that in the bonus material no mention was made on the songwriting, and how they pulled it off without replaying actual song hits of the 60's. That too, is a big part of the charm of this movie.

This was a blind buy for me...I must say I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. I watched the extended cut and not once did I wonder when it was going to be over. The movie follows a band to their rise to fame...The Wonders..They had one hit...Hench the expression 1 hit Wonder. Acting was great, soundtrack was awesome..Kind of 50's 60's tone..Loved the movie so much I ordered the soundtrack and have listened to it quit a bit over the last two days... The audio on this disc is really good..However the picture quality really suffers. Granted I have seen worse, but this movie isn't going to awe anyone with its picture..Highly doubtful any movie company is going to spend too much time cleaning up a catalog title. But for $5 with the TU&S, definitely worth a purchase.

I liked this movie, but I wasn't in a "big" hurry to see its extended cut. However, at nearly 2 and a half hours, the film is incredibly better, and Tom Hanks' vision is fully realized. The special features are good. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite film ever that centers on a band/musician. Funny, insightful, and honest. Hanks does a great job as a director here. Love the music too

For first-time director Tom Hanks, this movie is pure greatness. It has everything, comedy, drama, thrills, and actions (ok, maybe not everything).

I have loved this movie and was extremely excited to see the movie at Best Buy and for 7.99 I couldn't pass it up!
