Although once you find out what is happening it seems a bit saddening. The movie is set in a real yet futuristic way making it seem almost normal as every day life yet with a huge event changing everyone’s life.

Great underrated movie an looks great in 4K, has great action an plot twists, have never read the book so i can’t compare the two. The main actor she was amazing an i must say very sexy lol. Worth a buy imo!

If you've read the book or not, this is a must see. It has a great storyline and they did a good job of following the book. It wasn't much different, unlinked a few of the book to movies that have come out in the last few years.

Never read the books , but most people I know that did said it wasn't like the book. Most book readers say that all the time. It held my interest for while but I did fall asleep. Didn't really care enough to get into the caution but glad I saw it

This kind of reminds me of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" meets "Red Dawn" with a hint of "Mars Attacks". But basically, I kind of get the idea that Humanity can just kill each other off. Interesting. And I really like Chloë Grace Moretz

I knew this movie was based on a book but I never read. I know most people say the book is way better, I cant judge based on that due to never reading the book. The movie is great though, I love Chloe Moretz she is a great actress.

Special effects were pretty awesome, but it seemed a little long. Felt almost dragged out. Could've shortened it up a bit without losing much of the storyline. Got a bit boring at times, but the overall storyline kept me wanting to see the outcome.

The previews of this movie didn't portray what the movie will actually be like. The preview's depicted an action filled Sci-Fi adventure, however the actual movie is a lot slower. The acting is reasonably good, however the story line is OK at best.

I liked this film. I enjoyed it so much I actually went and purchased the book series the movie was based upon. I thought the story was good that the acting was well done and I look forward to the next movies in the series.

Does not show much on the aliens this is to be a series of movies to follow the books and this ended with a lot of questions and never really ended this did not do well in the theater and my worry is they will not be making the remander.

This a great movie for all you SyFy geeks. And it doesn't hurt that Chloe Grace Moretz is in the movie. So it has some Kick A#@ in it and story was actually pretty good. I hope they come out with a second movie.

This movie had potential but i felt like half way they lost the direction of the movie. Based on reviews and total revenue i don't suspect a sequel like in the book series, but I'd watch anything with Chloe Grace Moretz
