I would say, "Buy" but I wouldn't say that this was a classic like the first one was. This is very much like the 3rd Spider-Man by Raimi. I hope that they get control of the future movies and don't just crank out fast action without adding deep story... I bought it but I don't push it like say Edge of Tomorrow which deserves to be talked about!

Jamie Fox was great as Electro, it's not the comic book Electro... But hey it's a movie it will never be just like the comic people, give me a break. Spiderman/Peter has grown up more and is more confident, he should be even better in the next movie. Toby who..? This Spiderman is far better than any Spiderman movie Toby made. I've never been too big on extras. This Magno case is nice... GET IT!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has it's flaws. There's no denying that. However, the chemistry between Garfield and Stone is perfect and makes up for most of the other set-backs. I love the artwork on the case and even like the case itself. It does has a cheap look and feel to it, but it's still my personal favorite packaging for the film so far.

I wanna say i love spider man. Ever since i was i was small. And i believe that some of the reviews were harsh and unjustified. Ive read things that stated it was confusing all over the place etc. its a good movie. I always tell every one i know to not listen to the reviews and form your own opinion. Lastly dont compare these to the sam raimi originals which were great except for dpider man 3.

I've seen the first Amazing Spider-man and I bought it's 3D Blu-Ray Disc when it was released. I watched it many times because I Iove how detailed the color , the graphics, and the action on the screen. It was satisfying to know I got the second part of this movie and just the same , I love it, but this time , it was better than the first one. It was emotional and the characters are more real.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 is another story of the Web slinger adventure, I was hoping for more at the end. Up until the last 10 minutes or so the story was GREAT, Last 10 Minutes left me cold. I will continue to purchase Spiderman stories if only for my Grandson who is a died in the wool fan from under the age of 2 when he called him MAN-MAN.

Spider-Man is another of those super-heroes that got its start in comic books so many decades ago. And yet I still follow the web crawler. I've seen all the movies and enjoy all the new characters that are introduced. But Spidey and the storyline remains the same. He loves the girl and has to fight all the bad guys. What's not to love?

I am trying to grow my 3d collection and thought Spider-Man would make for a really great 3d movie given the way the character slings his way across the city. It's not bad, though perhaps less outward 3d depth than I expected. I wish the studio would stop rebooting Spider Man and changing the actors.

I have not had time to view this yet. I purchased it to keep my collection of the Batman franchise current. I know it was not a home run at the box office but Batman fans, like myself, my be more lenient. I am holding off watching it until family comes to town soon for a big hang out weekend together. This will fill one of our evenings.

I appreciate the effort to keep making these movies about Spidy. The acting and story are not always the best (sometimes seems like they try to jam too many subplots and villains into each movie), but the special effects are outstanding. I know I don't offer much detail here, but rely on the overall satisfying feeling from the film.

after seeing this movie in two formats once at theaters 3D and second at home it felt like there was something between the transference from theater to home video and i watched it in 3D as well there was a huge flaw (no popcorn). But this outing with the web head should've been better and we got good movie but should've been better then good the characters introductions was not that great but "meh" do-able i do think that the director did get confused part way through the movie. Cause it left the super hero phase and it went into a downward spiral of boring love story-ish and self pity movie in which was not really needed, poor development of the characters when the movie tried to rebound it was a bit too much for spidy even he couldn't avoid this mesh up of a crisis but it was a good amount of fun to look at. this could've been the super hero movie of the 2014 summer and this is not it, but hey its still fun to look at.

This Best Buy exclusive of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Blu-ray combo pack is great. It comes with a magnetic collectible case and a comic book based on the movie, along with a digital copy of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The movie itself is terrific, definitely worth the price, and for all the extras, no Spidey fan should pass on this deal.

Long somewhat boring chapter in Spider-Man film lore.

This movie has received a bad wrap in the press, but it's much better than the reviews indicate. Give it a chance. The Peter/Gwen relationship is fantastic. The action scenes and web slinging are the best of any Spider-Man movie to date and it's just like the comics. The last 15 minutes of the movie are edge of your seat fantastic.

This had action for everyone with new villains and more answers to Spiderman's secrets. The special effects were nearly over the top. The 3-D version will draw you into the action with the realism. There's something for everyone in the story, from his home life with his Aunt, to his love life challenges. When the movie ends you are left wanting more and for the movie to keep going.

This movie left me feeling frustrated, excited, angry, distraught, exhilarated, and very content. It was a beautiful film, and the special edition packaging is the coolest yet. Bring more magno cases! Though it was better than Spider-man 3, it suffered from the same issues, and wasn't without its faults. But it sure does move you.

The Amazing Spiderman two, great movie. I like all the hero movies. I really do enjoy them but sometimes they really make me mad by changing the plot. the story line and origins should be sacred. there is some reason in Hollywood that makes writers think that its OK to do that. I would love to see the Gunslinger series done in movies but I'm sure some writer would change the story

Overall this is a nice follow-up to Amazing Spider Man 1. Nice to see a back story to Peter Parker's family. The movie did tend to drag a little in the character development and the relationship build up for Peter and Harry was very weak and unbelievable, but the action was top notch and there were some very cool extras to watch.

It has all the quirkiness of the spidey comics, but enough fake outs for the fans to keep them guessing. For non comics fans, it has enough action and comedy to keep you entertained. True, there are multiple story lines that can take away from the main plot, but that is more of a nod to the comic fans, in my opinion, as the comics always have more than one plot stewing at once.

It was a decent movie, worth buying if it's on sale
