I basically got this for the 3d aspect and for my son. The use of 3D was good and enhanced the scenes. Visually this is a great looking picture. The storyline a reboot of the previous version was just so so and the boy girl interchanges got boring. Still if you're a spiderman fan you will enjoy it.

A lot of people didn't like the Spider-Man reboot with The Amazing Spider-Man, but I actually enjoyed it. The sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in my opinion was good but did not meet the quality of the first. The soundtrack is well done, the effects are good, but my complaint rests primarily with the characters. The pain problem is just that there are too many villains present in the movie to allow for their development which leaves the sense of conflict between Peter Parker and them lacking. With the future Sinister Six movie in development, maybe this was the choice of the studio to set up for the future more easily, but this movie suffers in the short term because of it. Overall the movie is still enjoyable for those looking for a good superhero flick. The action is well scripted and overall the film remains fun.

I obtained the 3D version in order to enjoy the great visual effects. I thought the storyline better than the first movie of the same name. The story continues where the first one left off and elaborates on the history of Spiderman. You will find a few surprises making this purchase worthwhile.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 wouldn't be a movie I am THIS excited to post about, but after seeing it in 4K UHD, I feel like I must. This is the PERFECT movie for a 4K/UHD upgrade - when Spider-Man is swinging across Manhattan, I started to unconsciously sway along with him (the picture was that crisp/clear).

It's Spider-Man and he is back! What an awesome movie and plenty of special F/X will keep you on the edge of your seat. The only thing I didn't like was I thought Spidey had too many enemies in this movie. Jamie Foxx did a wonderful job as Electro and I really like Andrew Garfiled as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Great movie and very enjoyable!

But they can't go scene for scene as the original. They had to be different and I thought they did a great job. I love Spider-Man 2, one of my favorite comic book movies ever, but I still think Tobey was miscast. I think the cast and acting in the new ones are far better but the directing was better in the old ones (aside form the 3rd)

Another great Marvel movie. You don't have to read the comics to understand it and is for the whole family. However watching the first Amazing Spiderman is a must so you know some of his story. Jamie Foxx definitely adds a great aspect for Electro to the movie. Doesn't overload you with different villians like the other Spiderman trilogy.

I bought a Samsung 4k TV recently and have been noticing that on some Blu-Rays the CGI just looks terrible because the picture quality is so amazing that the CGI looks fake. Didn't have that problem with this movie. The action was superbly fluid and looked realistic. I was very pleased with this purchase. Sony movies always look the best!

I enjoyed this movie throughout. Even though I enjoyed the first one better, this was still a great movie. Andrew Garfield is a great actor and is a perfect Spider Man. He truly makes you feel for his character. They need to not have too many villains because when they do this the story is a bit rushed and the plot is all over the place.

This movie lived up to the Amazing in the title. They followed the story for Gwen very well. This new case is very interesting, it is not a true steelbook but is does have some metal to it since it magnetically seals. If you want ALL the extra content you need to go to Target, they have a bonus disk for the sinister 6 that is very cool.

This was a lot better movie than I expected. A stronger and a bit more involving plot than most of this years blockbusters. Awesome 3d. Great clarity and depth. Garfield makes a good Spider-man, supporting roles are average. Jamie fox was the worst of the group. Definitely awesome demo disc,

The Amazing Spiderman 2 in 3D is the best 3D movie I've watched on my home system to date. The 3D visual effects are stunning. I do not know what makes this movie so different from any other 3D movie, but it just pops out at you. You do not forget you are watching a 3D movie. If you have a 3D home theater, this movie is a "can't miss'!

let me state that I am not a huge spiderman fan, but this was fun to watch. my only complaint was that rhino didn't have a bigger part in the film. I understand electro was the central villain (and he delivers) but I would have liked to have seen bigger roles for rhino and the hob goblin.

I remember when my son (12 years old) and I went to see this at the theater. We are both big fans of the Spiderman Franchise. I gacve it 5 stars because we love Spiderman, but I would have to say it's not as good as the first two in this series, but you can't have it all, as sequels go, the first is usually the best of the bunch.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suffers from lazy writing and too much going on in the plot. It has too many sub plots and feels like things are shoe-horned in order to expand the Spider-Man universe. The acting is also just so-so from Jamie Foxx and others. The special effects are good though and Spider-Man has never looked better on blu ray.

Now that Spider-Man is set to be rebooted once again, it's a shame that this will be the last we'll see of Andrew Garfield in this role. But it's safe to say that they went all out with this one and I think the next actor filling Peter Parker's shoes has a very large shadow behind him.

3D is well done and immersive. 3D experience pulls you into the movie more than the regular version. Some scenes with Electro and blast debris seem as though they were right in your room. The audio is DTS-HD is pretty impressive. Electro's surges had my subs going with some thunderous bass. Highly recommended.

From a technical standpoint, I find the visual and audio presentation to be top-notch for both the 2D & 3D versions of this movie. The special features are pretty decent, too. I like to see a lot of explanation on how visual FX and musical scoring is done. The musical score is very intricate and truly helps set the tone for the story.

I was happy to find The Amazing Spider-Man for such a great price: Free! Best Buy had/has (don't know if it still is available) a great deal to where you bought [select] two movies and you get one free! So I ended up getting 5 total Movies for one great price (Men In Black Trilogy plus The Amazing Spider-Man 1&2)

As a reboot this was very well executed. Unlike the original 3 Spiderman movies this showed you the dramatic side of peter parker's life that made his character believable and made you route for him even more when he was kicking butt. Good Action and CGI affects. Well done!
