The Amazing Spiderman is contrived, sometimes forced, and borderline campy. The strong cast and the natural chemistry between the two lead actors make it worth a watch. It's not the best superhero movie, but it is a solid effort and a must watch for Spiderman fans.

Growing up in the 90's nothing was better than Saturday morning cartoons. The amazing spider-man movie felt like I was reliving those early childhood days all over again. I appreciate this version more than the original trilogy and will be sad not to see Andrew Garfield going forward.

This movie had every chance to be great and decided to go the other way.. Probably the best Spidey suit of them all, but suffered in every other area. The 4k and HDR make up for this one since there are so many special effects flying at you in every other scene. Check it out..or don't

After watching the first movie, I was very excited after hearing about a sequel. Bought it as soon as it came out and watched it immediately. While I wasn't completely disappointed, it still left me with a desire for more. Great action and CGI, but the story itself was kind of dull. Still enjoyed it though.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was a very good movie. We are cable cutters and we watch plenty of movies. This DVD allows us to have entertainment on any of our televisions. We also can take it when we travel to watch in our vehicle and in hotel rooms if equipped with a DVD player.

Overall excellent movie and a great follow-up to the first. If you enjoyed The Amazing Spiderman, I see no reason why you would not love this one as well. The only draw back to this movie was the sheer amount of stories/information presented. Should set up for a great third movie, however. Highly recommend!

Pretty good movie and the cast was great! I definitely enjoyed watching it! Was doing a spiderman movie marathon and was missing this one. Happy to have it in my collection now!

The movie introduces new views on old characters, new characters with believable issues and has a lot of fun just being itself. If you want to be mired with nostalgia then don't watch this, but if you want to see something that does it's best and succeeds most of the time, check out Amazing Spider-man 2.

As a superhero fan I'm happy with all the superhero movies coming out. It's tough to translate it from comic to screen but this one work pretty well. Some good action sequences, decent acting and villains, plus some good 3d. I'd recommend this to any Spiderman fan

This year has seen some great comic movies and some average ones. As I own a good deal comic movies and have read a great deal of comics, this film lacked certain story telling necessities that confirm this as an average film that I wanted to love. The special effects were great, the acting was good. My first issue with the movie was that there was no tension in the film. I never thought that spider-man would lose. The multiple villain system didn't work. Hobgoblin (SPOILER AHEAD) showed up long enough to kill G.S because G.S. had to die in this film. We even had the Black Cat's alter ego in the film; just a lot of characters I didn't care for in order to set up the villain movie. All in all I would rate the movie 7 out of 10.

I think that "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" was one of the greatest films of all-time and was also one of my favorite films of all-time. This film had a really great and amazing cast, plot and personal storylines and a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense as well.

Andrew Garfield's Spiderman consistently vacillates between a whiny punk (standing in the way of his girlfriend's dreams by breaking things off and then pouting about her moving to England), and showboating idiot (see opening scene where he's messing with a truck driver marauding through NYC crushing cars and endangering lives instead of knocking the guy out and stopping the rampage, costing millions in damage along the way), with very, very few heroic moments mixed in. If you combine the Toby Maguire series and these "reboot" movies together, what you get is a serviceable mashup of Spidey lore that sometimes stays true to the story and spirit of the comics. All in all a C+ effort on the story and acting, A+ visual effects.

I have 43 3D movies and they were all purchased at Best Buy. Your prices are cheaper than Wal-Mart and the check out process is much faster. Whenever any of my friends mention that they are purchasing movies I direct them to Best Buy. I only wish the store carried American Dad, and more Kung Fu movies.

This was a loving tale of a man and his pet fish. Sure all relationships are hard to go through but if it's worth it then love will prevail!! Roy Schieder was great as always. Richard Dreyfuss needed to quit phoning it in. This movie goes to show you the softer side of this planets aquatic creatures.

I worried that this movie would suffer from too-many-villains syndrome but it dodges that problem, instead we get an Elektro who looks beautiful but comes across as 2-dimensional...but Spidey is awesome and the romance is ...well... great.

I like the fact that they are trying to identify Peter's parents in this film. None of the other movies or comics have attempted to do this. I don't like the fact that Peter keeps running into situations that leave him feeling guilty that he couldn't stop them.

Again this is another reboot of the original Spiderman series with Toby Maguire I believe the main actor is a lot better and there's a Lot more action in this movie A lot of drama a lot of actual fun and excitement and it reboots one of the older villains of the Marvel Spiderman series I liked it a lot

In my opinoin this is the best Spiderman movie ever to come out. Speacial effects are awesome. Sound is fantastic. I can't wait to see the next one. We can expect a lot of villains to be making an appearence and that was always the best thing about spiderman was the constant fighting with new villians.

So i used to collect comics, which means im a dork n get excited about foil-emossed glossy cover editions. Spidy2 z a pretty gud movie, but i prefer the tobey trilogy of spidys. The collectible package has 2 discs, a nice soft cardboard outside w shiny colors.

Great movie blue ray, dvd movie, and streamline. I did not know that when purchasing this product all the previously mentioned items would be enclosed. I was able to give th4e dvd as a gift. My family enjoyed the movie and has since attached it several times.
