Whats not to love.... Great price for the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital copy.

The movie is definitely entertaining with a very high Hollywood budget but fails to capture the seriousness of the situation by introducing to much comedy in its villains. I felt the first movie was more serious and perhaps darker where the villain was concerned and the light-hearted moments were left to the other main characters' daily lives. Don't get me wrong, the movie is entertaining and I would see it again but being a comic book collector for most of my life, Hollywood always changes what made the characters so famous in the book when they alter (for example) the villains' origin or making them too comedic to take serious. Where I felt the first movie was great all around, I feel this sequel only had the chemistry with Peter Parker and the surrounding characters in his life, but failed to capture me where Spider-man and the villains were involved. But again, that's only my opinion.

This continues the franchise nicely, but suffers like most 'part 2' movies. For some reason the second movie in a franchise seems to have a misstep of two that lessens it's impact. Then the subsequent parts improve on that. Here's hoping that trend continues. That being said, this movie is entertaining enough to hold it's own and is well worth watching. The movie doesn't follow the comics too closely, that is, not until the end. Which was a shocker that I expected at some point, knowing the comics, but just wasn't expecting to happen already at this point of the franchise. On the off chance, very off if your a comic hero fan, I will refrain from spoiling the ending. Most disappointing about this movie, for me, was the Rhino. They should have skipped it altogether and retooled the character if they wanted to include him in a future movie. Being a armored exoskeleton just ruined it for me.

Enjoyed the savings at Best Buy, and the family time of this movie.

Anything spiderman is entertaining. Highly recommend, 4k is amazing.

Emma Stone was great in this movie. Loved this story especially!

The Movie was good but the bad guys looked horribly done. I had great hopes with this Reboot cause they finally went back with real story line and showed the intelligence of Peter Parker and how he designed his own web shooters. the Rhino Character person being in a machine instead of a costume was rather lame and stupid. So that was a big disappointment and they used a washed up old actor the guys good and funny but still old and washed up and didn't belong in the movie. Jamie fox was really good in the movie but they designed part of his altered character weird with the make up design and some of it looked awful in the close ups. All in all the movie was good and entertaining to watch but I wouldn't pay anymore than 20 bucks for a Blu ray copy and the Magno Case was neat too. If the price goes up any higher don't buy it until the price drops back down.

The criticisms seemed overly harsh, although there's no disagreement that the movie should have been scripted more tightly and had more humanist touches. Some of the extra's scenes would have given the movie more flavor, some were rightfully removed. Stone and Garfield had chemistry, and Sally Fields brought a lot to the role of Aunt May as just an average, older woman -- again some of the best scenes are between her and Garfield. Cooper and DeHaan were somewhat wasted; I wish DeHaan's dialogue had been tighter. Basically an average plot/script with moments of insight and elevated at times by the skill of decent actors -- enjoyable but still disappointing in some ways. As far as the product, the 3D special foldout disc slots are unwieldy and difficult to use to secure the discs. It's the thing I'm least happy about regarding the product.

Marvel universe continues to deliver excellent movies

Overall the special effects and the action of the movie keep it going at a nice pace. The new additions to the movie franchise offer differing effects, with Jaime Foxx's Electro providing excitement, but very little substance as nothing more than a Darth Maul, one shot villian (cool fighting scenes, but not really necessary to the overall story. Dane DeHaan as Green Goblin provides hope for the future, but not nearly enough screen time with Electro and to an even lesser extent Rhino, cutting in. The chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone is really the selling point in this movie as the energy is felt by the audience without failing. Fun movie overall and a good chance for the franchise moving forward, but it will be important for it to not be bogged down by too many diverging storylines.

While I love Spider Man as a comic cartoon series, this franchise, if not careful, may fall prey to what has been happening to all other franchises that stretch their marketability. They eventually wither and die because of weak plots! I felt good about this movie but was left wanting more and a better idea as to where the adventures of the webbed crusader may take us next. I just hope the plot will be worthy of viewing the next installment, as I am sure there will be one. I like both of the actors in this movie, it is too bad the lead actress is now gone. I hope the relationship between Spider Man and the Green Goblin will be further explored down the road. As it is, he is responsible for spider-man's girlfriend's demise. Anyhow, I look forward to a great plot in the next and subsequent movies.
