Well the summary says it all. Already a fan. I Like 3D and this has a few scenes that really look awesome in 3D. Like most 3D in the home it also has a few scenes that look a little weird. The best buy extra with the comic book and magneto case is really cool. My only complaint is there is no place to put the comic book. It's an add on and not in the case to begin with just sealed in the plastic and the case has no room for it. So once the package is opened it quickly gets separated from the movie

The Andrew Garfield follow up to The Amazing Spider-Man was fun to watch at times. Other times, when Electro is on screen, the film seems to drag. Perhaps another actor could have given the role the oomph that it needed. Overall, a good movie, great special effects. A stronger villain presence is needed. A shame Garfield couldn't have done a third offering in the series. In my opinion, he was the perfect Peter Parker. It was fun while it lasted.

The movie is a great representation of Spiderman and Gwen Stacy. I do enjoy the villains in super hero movies but I feel like Spiderman hasn't gotten it right since Spiderman 2 with Alfred Molina as Doc Ock. I do think Dane DeHaan is a great young actor as Harry Osborne but once the make up effects come into play, you feel like the creative team is trying to please the 10 year Olds who buy movie tickets. This movie has just enough Spiderman in costume to save it from being a disaster.

I really dislike it when comic book movies try to shoehorn too many villains into a movie, and this one features no less than THREE...Electro, the Green Goblin, and at the end...Rhino. I enjoyed Jamie Foxx as Electro, and was surprised at Gwen Stacey's fate in the end. Unfortunately we now know that this series was scrapped, although it's good news that Spider-Man is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

First off, this is not my favorite film, but I purchased it because it was in 3-D and it cost $10. Also, part of the film was filmed in my hometown of Rochester New York. So I kind of had to buy it. I did enjoy watching it in 3-D and I am glad I purchased it. The disc looked very good, and I thought the 3-D was just great. I think that if you're longing to see this in 3-D, and you can get it for $10, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.

The Amazing Spider-man 2 is a good superhero movie with some plot and character issues. The action scenes are good, the ending does a great job of capturing one of the comic series' most important and game changing moments, and Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are both perfect in their roles. The main drawback is Jamie Foxx's Electro, who comes across as a very underdeveloped villain. The picture and sound of the bluray are great and it comes with some pretty cool special features.

Just like the first Amazing Spider-man, Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield are the best things about it. Not to say it's a bad movie, just overstuffed from Sony's plans to spin off other films (Sinister Six, unknown female Spidey movie). While Dane DeHaan is a great actor, the Green Goblin might not've been the best choice so soon after the first trilogy. And the less said about Electro, the better. Check it out, but don't expect it to top Spider-Man 2 (the best Spidey of the bunch).

I love this movie! But whenever Best Buy releases a special edition or limited edition blu ray, they tend to have the same SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) number as the regular blu rays. That doesn't help anyone find the item they would like to purchase in the store (Best Buy) they are buying the item from or locating the item in another branch of that same store. I spent an hour looking my self and with the help of an employee, who ended up finding one in the back warehouse. I hope Best Buy can find a way to make it easier for customers in this regard.

It was entertaining, Spidy flying through the air on slow motion was great in 3D. Overall, it was very confident, almost.cocky Spider-Man that couldn't save again very important person in his life and that was very surprising at the end. It left me wondering what the next Spider-Man movie going to be like. With these type of movies you are either a fan or you're not. I love this movie in 3D, the reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I wasn't crazy about the overall story.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 picks up right where the last movie left off, with Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy in their separate-but-together relationship. When danger looms in the form of a dysfunctional electrical engineer-transformed (Jamie Foxx as Electro) and a no-account rich boy felled by the family disease (Harry Osborn), Peter and Gwen have to defy the odds and defeat not only the bad guys, but only the systemic corruption that is trying to capitalize on their powers.

As a fan of the first Amazing Spider-Man movie, I enjoyed this movie for building on to the characters and themes established in that film. It's not flawless, but there is plenty to enjoy for both the casual viewer and Spider-Man enthusiasts alike: great action scenes and a lot of heart. The movie never feels crowded despite a large cast, and avoids the "Spider-Man 3 syndrome" with careful pacing and smartly holding back characters that don't need to be front-and-center.

This was a great follow up the first film. The story of Peter Parker and Spiderman are threatened by two new villains. One is a lonely pathetic super fan of Spiderman who becomes the villain Electro after a freak accident (isn't always the case.) The other is Peter's old friend Harry Osborne, who becomes the Green Goblin. There's also more about Peter's parents deaths and lives. Aside from the story, there is also a lot of cool action. It looks great in 3D.

I am new to 4k movies and just bought a 4k TV and found out that one should also research the movies they buy because most of them even though they are "4K" and you pay much more are not filmed IN 4k, therefore, they are upscaled and there is not much difference than a blu ray. The Spiderman 2 and I believe others are filmed in 4k and copied in 4k so you will get what you pay for. Just look online for what movies are filmed in 4k.

The best part about this movie is, no question, Spider-Man himself. Wearing a fireman helmet,, keeping entire crowds of people safe while trying to battle Electro, saving a kid from bullies - he feels like a genuine comic book hero. The movie suffers a bit by trying to put too many pieces on the board, and as a result the entire end beats move too quickly and feel a bit like an afterthought. Despite that though, this is solid entertainment all the way through.

I really enjoyed this movie in theaters and thought it was a step up from the original reboot.. While not a perfect movie, it definitely has its moments. I thought the action sequences were one of the high points and they looked amazing in 3D in the theater. So, needless to say, I was excited to see it again in 3D at home....it does not disappoint. The movie has a good blend of humor and action and visually it looks stunning, in 3D or regular Blu-ray.

Unfortunately Amazing Spider-Man 2 didn't live up to the hype. It fell into a lot of the same pitfalls that Spider-Man 3 had, with trying to do so much that nothing really gets done. They also tried to set up the Spider-Man movieverse by introducing easter eggs for the Sinister Six. However, the biggest preview, The Rhino, was so poorly used, that he shouldn't have made the final cut at all. Still this is a fun movie and worth a watch for comic fans.

Movie quality is excellent including picture and sound. Negatives are that one of the fights displayed in the trailer ends up being cut short without you being able to see it. It really messed the experience up for me. Otherwise, the movie was good. Emma Stone did great, i still miss the original peter parker because i am not a fan of the Amazing Spider Man type spidey. All in all, it's a good movie, but not amazing like the title indicates.

The film is way underrated in my opinion. The story is well thought out. The comics were definitely utilized in planning out the script and executed very well. The acting was great. You could definitely see what was happening the whole time, unlike other CGI laden films that everything mixes together. Also, liked the idea of setting up the Sinister Six, plus the fact they did not overfill the film with too many villains. Not to mention, the GREAT Sally Field is still playing Aunt May, she is incomparable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a Spider-Man movie, if you like Spider-man you will like the movie. You might not love it, but you will like. I have to admit that I liked the 1st spider-man movies with Toby M. The second amazing spider-man is better than the 1st. The action is good, but too much CGI. I really liked the Gwen Stacy character played by Emma Stone and wish she could have been in more of the future movies. The impact of her death at the end was sad to say the lest.

Entertaining, mostly because of Emma Stone, but felt like it could have been so much more. Felt they didn't really take advantage of Electro or Hobgoblin, which was a shame, and focused more on the relationship between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. Visual effects were pretty cool, but not enough to sustain the movie. Probably worthwhile owning if you own all of the film treatments for Spiderman (like I do), but otherwise, do PPV and be done with it.
