this was definitely a great Batman movie but i was expecting more from it i was a bit let down with the amount of riddles given in the movie, and then again the majority of them didnt even feel like riddles. there was a lot more potential in this but they didnt take advantage of it. not to mention i was a bit furious they didnt release the 4 hour version. i am going to be even more mad if later on they'll re release this again but like a directors cut or something just to get that 4 hour version this movie was still great tho dont get me wrong! i love that it barely had any bruce wayne and had more batman right off the bat get it

I was a little bit skeptical when I heard Patterson was going to take on the Batman role, a role that ive seen every interation of, but man he pulls it off. This movie is dark and gritty while being really realistic. Like I feel like it could actually happen in real life, just due to the handmade feel of the suit and batmobile. The movie plays one of the batman comics biggest traits, that hes a detective. I dont know how most movies just kind of forget that he is the ‘worlds greatest detective’ but this movie definitely doesn’t.

Didn't care for this in the theater - too violent and too long. The disc was on sale at Best Buy, decided to pick it up anyway as a lifelong Batman fan. Glad I did. Watched it twice since picking up the disc, it gets better. Includes a great 'making of' documentary - plenty of production challenges as this film was made during COVID - and a deleted scene with Batman and the Joker. If you liked the movie, you'll love the disc. If you didn't care for the movie, you might want to give it another chance.

Overall great film. Thought it lagged a little at the end but ramped back up and ended well. I would love to see Pattison again in the role. Such a unique take, but what I'm excited is that this will lead to huge strides forward in future films. The commitment to this more raw take, was great and didn't just fade after the first fight. I do love Batman, and this was a great breath of fresh air after Batflack. DC has a lot to work with, I'm glad they let this breathe on its own.

Finally we get a Batman at its roots. We see the beginnings of the World’s Greatest Detective as he takes on The Riddler. Director Matt Reeves grounds it in its own way from The Dark Knight Trilogy. Michael Giacchino composes probably the quintessential Batman theme. With time it could overlap the Danny Elfman theme. Last but not least, Robert Pattinson delivers as Batman. If you haven’t followed his career, he has grown as an actor and dives deep into the roles that you forget he was ever in Twilight.

Probably the best movie i've seen in a while. Was curious how Robert Pattenson would do as batman and he nailed it, I felt pretty immersed on his view in having an effect to the city. The riddler actor was superb and the whole cast in general was great as well. Great soundtrack to go along with the whole film and it looks amazing in 4k. Would definitely recommend to any batman or superhero fan

The movie could have been so much better than what we got. Too long, ruined main villain, ridiculous last 3rd of the movie, and under-utilized characters (e.g. Alfred). Everyone was originally against Robert Pattinson as Batman, but I always believed he fit the role well and this movie shows that. I hate the cover of this blu ray with the blow up of Batman's face, it looks horrible and doesn't even make me think of Pattinson when you look at it. Overall an 8/10 from a long time Batman fan. A good first effort but we deserve better for the character. The sequel needs to be infinitely better than this.

4k is the way to watch the Batman! In a world set in Dark, this is the true way to experience Gotham the way its meant to be seen, in all its gritty, dark, dankness of a city. The sound is off the charts amazing and makes you feel as if you're really there to see and feel every punch, explosion, gun and knife sound effect. Highly recommend this movie experience!!!

While DC superhero films have had their fair share of misses, their Batman films continue to be exceptional and this one is included. A cinematically beautiful film 100% worth watching in 4K HDR, as you draw more color and beauty through the film’s use of black shadows. I wasnt sure at first if the world needed another batman film, but they really brought something worthwhile here.

I'm vengeance. This was an amazing retelling of the masked crusader on the big screen. 5/5 4k image looks stunning. The blacks in this movie looked BLACK. That's a requirement as this movie takes place at night for the most part. Dolby Atmos was a pleasure to my ears. Great additions to the already amazing story, characters, and action set pieces! Looking forward to the sequel with Matt Reeves.

Director Matt Reeves takes us to a new version of Gotham City and a new take on Batman who has only been the superhero for a couple of years. Robert Pattinson is excellent in his role as the caped crusader. We also get great performances from John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is a very strong entry in the long ongoing varying depictions of Batman told over the years and is up there as one of the best. It is not perfect by all means but the storytelling and going back to the detective roots of Batman and his having to find his place in this world push the storyline along with many powerful moments that could be missed on first viewing.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the new Batman because if my hatred for the Twilight series. I will say however I was pleasantly surprised. The storyline was was good and one of the more believable Batman movies ever made. The 4K transfer was amazing and the entire cast did a great job. Some people have said it was a bit long but I think they did a fantastic job of telling the story. A great addition to my Super Hero collection

Complete with 4k, blu-ray, and digital code (vudu, movies anywhere). I love having the digital version so I can easily watch on the go. As far as the movie itself, its dark, gritty, and harkens back to the days where Batman really plays a detective, trying to solve the Riddlers puzzles and save Gotham before the whole city floods. Theres much more meat and substance, and I hope you enjoy the movie as much as myself. Quite long, and Ive heard mixed reviews, but I am on the positive side with this one.

Depending on your take on the Batman franchise will determine how you like this movie. If you like the original TV Batman series, you'll probably not like this version. Not only is it filmed to be "dark", but the plot is dark as well. It appears to be as if it is meant to be more realistic rather than fantastic. If you prefer a more realistic storyline and another face of Batman, this might be for you. The acting is great, the videography is outstanding. It is just such a departure from the previous Batman movies that it has to be taken on it's own merits.

For the many Batman fans out there here is one NEW age Batman man vie you wouldn’t want to miss; it is just simply called The Batman. This certainly comes with a new actor to play the title role. And please look for The Catwoman in this one, like you’ve never seen her before. Altogether makes a Batman movie a definite must-see on 4K or blu-Ray on your home theater system.

Excellent movie. Most of the story is set at night time, so expect dark scenes with low lighting. The picture quality however is amazing, with stunning black and orange colored scenes, it gives a warm, Halloween-ish vibe. The soundtrack is also amazing, with the musical score done by Michael Giacchino. Great movie. It does have violence, so it is meant for kids.

I had my doubts before seeing the first of this most recent of the "Batman" franchises, but it definitely has some outstanding moments, along with slowly maturing and developing young Bruce Wayne/Batman. The audio and video are first rate. You'll develop a greater appreciation of this film with multiple viewings. Definitely recommended.
