Great comedy and good packaging for a great price.

My wife likes the show so it sometimes appears on the tv

I caught this show in the middle of the fourth season after it became syndicated on TBS. I never really give sitcoms a chance. They're usually filled with bad jokes, horrible acting, and tacky story lines. But this show surprised me. It is still more or less a typical sitcom but the acting is excellent (Jim Parsons has won many Emmys for his role of Sheldon) and the jokes speak to me personally being an uber-nerd as I am. Most people who have never watched Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, etc. won't get a majority of them and I love that. If you find a true fan of this show then you know you've found a closet nerd as well. Enjoy.

As a "Star Wars" & "Indiana Jones" fan I was a late bloomer to the show. Started watching it when the repeats started airing in 2011. My favorite episode is in season 4 what I call "the Raiders" episode. The 5th season is good, but NOT nearly the best. I consider the 4th season the best. As a "Star Wars" & "Indiana Jones" fan I want to know why not one actor from any of those films have been on. 2 favorite episodes in season 5: episode 19 "The Weekend Vortex" & 20 "The Transporter Malfunction". Now, I am going to stick up for "Star Trek" fans here. Episode 5 “The Russian Rocket Reaction’ is another Wil Wheaton episode BUT the blu ray/DVD package does not mention Brent Spiner. And, of course episode 20. Leonard Nimoy has been mentioned in more than one episode in the series, my favorite when Penny gives Sheldon the autographed napkin. So, having him do the voice of the “Spock” action figure was great. BUT, he got NO MENTION in the credits or the blu ray/DVD episode list like Spiner. I did feel the season finale about the wedding was a let down. You normally get surprises in finales & season openers, so episode 1 of season 6 should be fantastic to make up for the "no surprises" season 5 finale. Normal, good extras in the packages. You have 2 blu ray disc & 3 DVD disc in this. Looking forward to season 6.

The first season of this show was great. Finally, a show that didn't completely rely on s*x and f*rt jokes. How I miss those days. While the show still occasionally shows it's brilliant roots, we're now reduced to jokes about Sheldon not understanding euphimisms. The pros: New female characters. Episodes focusing on the supporting characters. Cons: In an effort to reach as wide an audience as possible (and I understand that this is what they need to do in order to continue making money; doesn't mean I have to like it) they've dumbed this show down so much that 50% of the jokes wouldn't be out of place on any countless other sitcoms, which is a shame.

Big Bang Theory continues it's winning streak of being one of the best comedies on TV today. The developing relationships between all the guys and girls has really helped add a new dimension to the comedy making it better each season as it progresses. Jim Parson's as Sheldon continues to give of the best comedic performances on TV.

The best comedy on network tv. This show has lots of laughs with bits of seriousness baked in. Season five is one of my favorite seasons due to the excellent writing and superb acting by the crew. I only hope that the quality of the show does not degrade in future seasons.

Season five has everything we hope for from the Big Bang Theory. From the expanded relationship of Howard and Bernadette, to the burgeoning relationship of Sheldon and Amy.

This was a surprise purchase. We walked back to the section to just see what Best Buy had. We found this, knew we didn't have it already and wanted to purchase it because it was cheaper than we had seen anywhere else.

The Fifth Season of Big Bang Theory is a great continuation of the series. Having the DVD copies and Ultraviolet to go along with the Blu Rays make this package an excellent value.

This will keep you in stitches. I have all the series'. Pick a dreary weekend and run a marathon of the whole series. You will be happy even though the day could get you down.

One of my favorite TV shows of all time. Always get a great laugh out of the show. Sheldon is the man. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great comedy to watch.

It's one of the funniest shows ever! I can watch this show more than 10 times and don't get bored. Sheldon Cooper, the itself, hysterical, I love this guy!

I enjoy the show and liked the extra features on the DVD. Purchased on Black Friday for $10. because regular price all year long is $35.

My daughter got me hooked on this series. I can't believe how many times I laugh during one half hour episode! Great purchase price too!

Arguably one of the best shows on tv. With each season I am more and more impressed with the comedic genius that is Big Bang theory.

This season is funnier than the past four. This is by far my favorite tv show since the ending of Friends.
