I love the "dude" in this movie. Jeff Bridges really nailed it.

Wow! The Dude got a significant upgrade with this 4K release. I have the HD Blu-ray (1080p) but had to grab this because, as you know, the Dude abides. I rarely purchase a 4K copy if I already have it on HD Blu-ray, but I certainly don't regret it. Dude, lets go bowling...

Jeff `The Dude' Leboswki is mistaken for Jeffrey Lebowski, who is The Big Lebowski. Which explains why he's roughed up and has his precious rug peed on. In search of recompense, The Dude tracks down his namesake, who offers him a job. His wife has been kidnapped and he needs a reliable bagman. Aided and hindered by his pals Walter Sobchak, a Vietnam vet, and Donny, master of stupidity. Wikipedia helped me to CTRL-C.

This is one awesome movie! If you have the blu Ray I would still pick this movie up the video quality is way better on the 4K version. The movie seems a lot more unique with 4K! If your a bowler or stoner movie fan definitely pick this up! It’s just a great movie to begin with you don’t need to like either of those genres of movies and you still should love this movie! A lot of stars in this movie as well! A+

The outtakes and bonus footage alone are worth it.

This is an audio and video masterpiece. I already had the blu ray version, but saw this one on sale at the time so I had to act on it. The 4k version really ties the room together. Just make sure to keep it away from Wu...he might pee on it. And Brandt can't watch...or he'll have to pay $100. I'm just gonna go find a cash machine...

For a cult classic of this calibre to make the transition into 4K is not a surprise. What is surprising about this transfer is just how good it is and the massive improvement it has received comibg from the 1080p bluray. If you are a fan of this film or of tge 4K format, this is a must own.

This one is for all collectors and fans of the "Big Lebowski", you will be very happy with this one. While there's nothing new on the 20th anniversary disc, it's the cool items that come with it that are the attraction here. If you want to see whats in the package, head over to You Tube and find an unboxing video. I'm very pleased with this and I'm sure you will be too.

For those of us who've been around. Can you think of anybody, and I meananybody who could pull off the dude like Jeff Bridges? Comedies are the toughest to have most people like them. Go in with no sense of purpose, sit back and watch a movie with great actors giving it their best.

I bought this movie to enjoy on our blu-ray player. It's always been one of our favorites, and even after seeing it a few times, it's still one of the best casts and scripts that's ever been put on film. Jeff Bridges and John Goodman steal the show. Buy it, you won't be disappointed! I found it in STEELBOOK packaging for only $5.99 at our local Best Buy!

The Coen brothers make masterful and highly entertaining films and this one is no different! This film is wonderfully paced and incredibly hilarious. It is cast just as well as you would expect from a Coen brother film and is a cult classic for a reason! This is a steelbook version and includes blu-ray, dvd and digital copies. I highly recommend it!

I was not too impressed with the storyline, but the acting all around was very good. I've seen comedic cult type movies that I love. This isn't one of them although it's not bad...just so-so.

It's hard to find a bigger cast of misfits in any movie. The movie starts with mistaken identity between two people named Lebowski. One is a do nothing bowling bum that drinks and smokes too much. The other is a rich man in a motorized wheelchair. The rich one has a wife who likes to spend money and owes money all over town. The collection guys go to strong arm someone to get their money, but goes to the wrong Lebowski, Jeff Bridges, who plays the bum perfectly. It's too hard to explain what happens, but definitely worth a watch.

While I feel the term "collector's edition" may be a bit disingenuous for something I pulled out of the bargain bin, I can't refute the value here. For whatever reason, the $4.99 bin is now a $3.99 bin, and the periodic refreshing of a new selection of classics is more than welcome. I give it the full 5 *insert witticism from movie here* out of 5.

I have been a fan of the "duderino" for years now. I was beboping through my local Best Buy when I spied this this little gem for a super low price. I could not resist. The dude in bluray no less. I had to add this to my collection.

Very entertaining film, if you're a fan of the Cohen brothers; no need to recap the film; you've either seen it and their other efforts and love them (Blood Simple, Fargo, Raising Arizona etc.) or you wouldn't be reading this review. Very good Bluray transfer of the film. Steel book edition at a budget price very much a bargain.

I'm always skeptical on catalog upgrades to 4K but the Big Lebowski is a beautiful transfer. Not DTS X capable but look forward to hearing that when I can. The included Blu-ray has plenty of options. The 20th Anniversary set comes with some nice collectibles to boot. Keep the special editions coming!

Always been a fan of the film. Nice to have this one in a cool steel book. Packaging is a conversation piece and there are a good amount of extra film features to go through, though not sure if it's any different than the standard blu ray edition in that regard. Even better to have found this for $4.99. A great buy for sure.
