I was so excited to see this movie I was also expecting this movie to be way better and have more in depth of details of what went on and more action :/ I'm not giving this movie a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down it just could have been way better in my opinion.

The movie wasn't bad per se, but it felt that it was a little safe. There was so much left untold and a big rush to the climax. Seems like budget concerns kept this film from reaching its full potential.

This film was mired by media scandal but had it had a chance to perform on its own I think it would've done ok at the box office it had potential in a lot of areas but it also left a hole for adding more to it.

This movie was ok, it was good if you want to learn more about American History and who Nate Turner was. Even though it's a part of history I am not a fan of slavery nor all the killing.

This movie gives you a lot to think about. It could have gone deeper into the historical aspect of the actual events. It definitely gets you interested in the real people involved.
