This is a movie you must see! It’s important to remember and understand what happened all those years ago.

Had to have this very good movie for my factual history collection of DVDs. Great acting, plot and character development!

My husband watched it, and said it was good. Told me wasn't what he expected.

Though probably loosely based on facts, still a great depiction of the evils of slavery. In the end not quite sure how to view actions he took, but it was a brutal period in history.

I would recommend this movie to anyone, with attention to detail,, maintained inwards for all practical purposes from Jensen for the remedial attention to the beginning of the movie.

Despite all the controversy surrounding the director. A really nice transfer to Blu-ray as well. A must see.

Anybody that likes seeing artistic takes on history will love this movie. It stays pretty true to the facts with of course, some artistic liberties. But it was acted and paced well.

The life of Nat Turner is rarely brought up & I think that Nate Parker did a great job shedding light on his story.
