This wasn’t the best movie, it wasn’t the worst movie. Above average and I’ll say worth a watch if you have the time.

Tremendous, understated horror film from Oz Perkins that manages to be quiet, and then get quite shocking. Modern horror classic.

This movie turned out better than I expected!! It has a great cast and a great storyline to go along with it all. It is a bit odd at times and could make you jump a few times as well!! Worth watching if you’re into horror movies!!!

Tense, understated, extremely creepy. The performances of the three leads make the movie, but the subject matter is compelling as well. Will probably disappoint most horror fans addicted to slashers and gore, but is much better than most fare that gets the "horror" tag. If you're on the fence because the average review is three stars, go ahead and watch, usually that means that the movie disappointed enough normies to be a fun experience. If you were fond of films like "The VVitch," you'll probably enjoy this one as well, likewise if you hated that movie, you'll probably want to avoid this one too.

Recommendable for everyone who's into International films that avoid every cliché possible. The ending is definitely rewarding. If you like atmospheric, silent movies that use most of their run-time for build-up, you will like this one. If you like stories that are told in a different and unconventional way, you should watch this.

Solid film, cast, etc. but this is more of a product review: for $9.99 you get a great indie film on blu-ray and digital. Not much in the way of features, but a nice slipcover dresses up the relatively flimsy standard blu-ray snapcase. It's a win for me (minus the obnoxiously difficult to remove best buy sticker).

If you like horror and know what you're getting yourself into, this is a great movie. It's a bit slow, and most of the scares come from the atmosphere, but I found it consistently gripping from start to finish.

Priced right and easy to find. When I need to find a more popular or blockbuster Hollywood title, I go to Best Buy. Granted, some locations are better than others with their stock and variety.

This movie was very bizarre. It took me a minute to figure it out. Very dark. Ending was a surprise. See it!

Didn't know what to expect when I first Watched this movie but I was pleasantly surprised and really liked the surprise twist.

I bought this movie after watching the trailer for it and it didn't disappoint. It's creepy and full of suspense. They did a very good job at really focusing on the creepy and scary details of the characters and surroundings rather than just trying be super gory or do a bunch of surprise "gotcha" scares.

The Blackcoat's Daughter is a nail-biter for sure and a fresh thriller.

Hands done an excellent film, great pacing and atmosphere, solid acting and terrific plot. Really one of the best horror films I have seen in a long time. A lot of bad reviews out there too, but I think if you are okay with a slow burn horror (ex. House Of The Devil) you will love this movie.

Another solid horror film for those who are a fan of the genre.
