Every Sunday I check for movies that are on sale at Best Buy. To my surprise, this movie was under $10.00. Best Buy has the best deals on Blu-ray movies. I was able to pick it up at store-pickup the day after ordering the movie. I recommended it to a couple of co-workers and they purchased it as well.

This is one of the most underrated kids movies of recent memory. I happen to be of Hispanic heritage so Dia De Los Muertos is definitely something that is big in our culture. This film is the perfect way to introduce and explain it to the younger generation. Great music and unbelievable visuals! A++

This movie has plenty of humor and it is a nice way to introduce some aspects of Mexican culture to little ones. Do note that this movie has to do with Dia De Los Muertos, so there may be a few scary images/themes. With that being said I saw the movie as being a "bright" version of The Corpse Bride.

Purchased item online foe curb pick up, every step of the way was so easy and convenience. My 5yr old really wanted this movie and got it for him the same day. Excellent movie to watch with the whole family

Everything about this movie was amazing from the animation, to the popular songs with a mexican twist. If you are bored of the same old films that keep coming out give this a try, because its a beautiful film with lots of heart pu into it. A very original and a great cast make this film worthwhile.

We picked this up on deep discount figuring, what the heck? It is great! It has fighting, love, death, following your heart, sacrifice, strong female characters, a great soundtrack, and some cultural learning. My kids (5,3,3) all love it. Only problem is getting the soundtrack out of my head..

There are some movies these days I opt not to see in the theater and just wait until the bluray release to enjoy at home (much better picture thanks to Best Buy/Magnolia). The Book of Life is definitely one of those movies to show off the big screen at home. Stunning animation and the story is great.

One of the best movies everthis is one of the best movies ever came into extreme surprise didn't know what to expect got it because it was on sale and my kids had remembered a trailer for it it was great they loved it and I myself love to recommend all friends and family five stars

Having been a high school Spanish teacher, I was so excited to see this movie had been made! What a wonderful movie abt the Day of the Dead! It's fun, entertaining, and it is true to the Mexican culture. I bought it on Blu Ray on sale at an awesome price that even the local "mart" couldn't beat.

The Book of Life is a good movie for children of all ages to see. I put it on for my great-granddaughter to watch, and she wants to watch it over and over again. If I let her, she would watch it all day. She tries to get her mother to watch it with her as many times as she watches it.

It took me a little bit to get used to the drawing style of the movie, but I quickly got over it and really enjoyed the movie. The story line was great for any age, and it kept me entertained. I was really surprised by the music, as they took a few present day songs, and gave them a little twist.

While both this film and Coco share some common themes and styles, Book of Life is a completely standalone film with excellent animation and voice acting that the whole family can enjoy. This version includes both Blu-Ray and DVD versions of the film.

A surprisingly good movie, actually caught this on HBO and my 5 y/o loved it. Picked it up the next day, on sale for $10 a great price for blu-ray, dvd, and digital! Anyway a great story that was fun for the whole family. Audio and video quality is of course great as expected for blu-ray.

I didn't expect too much of this movie going in.. it didn't seem to be advertised very well when it came out, which was really a shame because this movie was very good. It not only told a great story but the history behind Dia de los Muertos was very interesting to learn about as well.

Bought this for my daughter. I downloaded the digital copy & watched it before she was able to see it. It was so cute! The characters were great and the story was an epic love story that was easy for kids to follow along with. We've watched it several times & it's become a fav in the house!

A terrific movie that is better than Minions or even some Pixar. IMHO of course, but the design and pacing of the movie is very good and the land of the dead is a vast and interesting place. Definitely recommended to those looking for family entertainment with a good dosage of culture.

Produced by no other than Guillermo Del Torro. This movie is full of music and colors. One of the most underrated films. Coco might have better animations but there's no doubt that the Book of Life inspired Disney's Coco.

Got it on sale so the price was right. The music was great and the story was adorable. Loved the bright colors and idea behind remembering our lost relatives. Everyone can learn from that tradition, it is a beautiful idea to celebrate rather than to grieve.

This is a great movie for the whole family. Duke and Gamora lead the voice acting cast. An extremely vivid soundtrack that repurposes popular hit songs with a Spanish sound. Among other great CGI flix like Cars, Despicable Me, Kung Fu Panda and Toy Story this one is in the upper echelon.

Engaging story and great animation. I really enjoyed the movie. Another animated movie the entire family can sit down and watch.
