Just wow!! This movie surprised me. It looked really good in the trailers and it was even better when I saw. The contrast in colours of the 3 worlds is nice to see, works great in harmony together. The story was really well done. Happy to have it in my collection of animated films.

Movies in this art form are always the best for 3D. Lots of depth and pop. This is a very unique and fun movie to watch. If you are a fan of culture and Dia de los Muertos, this is a great movie for you. Awesome for the family. You can't beat the price either!

This was a good movie, I prefer Coco over this but it was a good movie. They both have similarities.

Me and my kids (ages 5 and 2) love this movie. The characters are interesting and distinct, the visuals are colorful and amazing, and the story is simple yet engaging. There is action, great voice acting, and original songs blended in. Overall a great movie for kids and adults.

Extremely funny movie that my kids love. The interesting thing about buying movies today is I can buy a movie like like this that my kids love for about half the price of going to the movies with them so for me, no brainer. Highly recommend this movie. Picture and sound are great!

If you want the perfect family movie, then The Book of Life [3 Discs] [3D] [Blu-ray/DVD] [Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D/DVD] is the go to movie. I enjoyed it, the wife enjoyed it and the kids definitely enjoyed it

My family and I really enjoy this animated musical. We even picked some of the songs to download from the soundtrack. The themes may require some education if you are not familiar with day of the dead, although the movie imparts some minimal education on the subject.

I watched this thinking it was just another dumb kids cartoon and boy was I wrong. Many laughs and great moments to be had for the adults and my kids thought it was a ball. The choice of music throughout the movie was the cherry on top. You should be pleasant surprised as well.

Saw this in the theater and had to pick it up when released in 3d. The story isn't just about love between the main characters. It was also about family members. At first I wasn't fond of the animation, but the story kept me going. Great film for the family. Definitely recommend.

Book of Life looks fantastic in 3-D. Great depth with a few decent pop-outs. The film also has beautiful visuals. Definitely a treat to watch on my 60 inch plasma 3-D t.v. The story gets a little corny at times but still remains fun. Overall I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

First of all, 3D effects are amazing and the coloration is super. The story is wonderful and positive. We need more movies like this. I also like how the movie interpret after-life with warmth and love. EXCELLENT. Definitely worth keeping in my 3D collection.

Of course the one movie the kids wanted to watch was not on Netflix, so I purchased the Blu-ray at a great price. They watched it three times that day. Money well spent. Digital copy worked perfectly.

We’ve always loved this movie and glad to have it in our collection. The music and animation are top notch. It’s an original story delving into the mythology of Mexico and highly entertaining. Kind of like Coco, before Coco came out.

i loved this movie in the theater. this was my daughter's valentine's gift. a great love story that doesn't come easily like many fairy tales. a strong female character that doesn't swoon at the traditional prince. and the animation is to die for. full of color and light.

Very underrated cartoon movie filled with action and amazingly done characters. My wife and I were blown away with how great, entertaining, and visually breathtaking this movie was. Great features on the blu ray as well. Must have at this 9.99 or lower price

This movie is awesome. The colors, and story are beautiful. The director is so passionate about his movie....watching the overlay voice track made me love the movie even more. The extra digital copy is awesome as we can watch it in the car. I love it. Great purchase.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical of the movie when we first saw it. I was pleasantly surprised by the music and the way it blended new songs with some old ones and actually had a good story. The voice work was solid as well. I would caution that the material may be too dark for some of the younger kids (death, etc), but for most kids, it's just fine as the story is told in a typical fairy tale style.

This truly is an excellent film the little ones and my family love this gem as well as the adults myself included. Checking our radar for a sequel. Really liked soundtrack that is throughout this movie. Excellent action animated film. I definitely recommend this movie.

This is a great Halloween movie, that is different from every other animated Halloween story. It's an epic tale based on a Hispanic mythos, instead of the more traditional American stories involving children and trick or treating or something like that.

From the previews I didn't have high hopes for this movie but upon watching it, it was actually a lot better than I initially thought. Very well done movie, nice graphics and color. Looks beautiful on blu-ray.
