The Book of Life is a wonderful animated film that will become a highlight in your families library. Not only did my daughter like it I really enjoyed it myself. The animation is spectacular and the storyline is a fun filled ride to take. The picture quality really pops on Blu-ray and the audio is very immersive. I really recommend this film for everyone, young and old alike.

Love the story of this movie and how it takes place, it represents a beutiful Mexican tradition "the Day of the Dead", which is great to show our kids who were born and raised in the US so they can learn more about our Mexican traditions!!!!

Watch this movie!!!!! Notice the amazing animation and carry the message--ah, well, there is more than one message for you in this film, whatever message/messages you find, keep it/them in your heart forever!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter loves this movie and we were looking for a good deal Which we found at best buy. This movie comes with a digital download with the option to do it on windows, android o itunes.

I enjoyed this movie with my pre-school grandchildren. My husband was not impressed but my daughter also enjoyed watching it. I liked that there was no bad language and nothing leading to difficult-to-answer questions

I give it 4 stars as for an animated film, it was above average and had an interesting story line. While the themes are deep and sometime dark to keep it from a kids film, it is still family friendly. Very interesting styling and twist to Mexican themes, nice to see in a film, although some Hollywood overtones do shine through. It is a worthy film to have in the library.

Having seen this in the theaters, we decided to purchase this for our collection. Re-watching it at home was actually better. The 3D was very impressive and made the color seem more vivid. Not as much "pop-out" effect as others, however we still rated it an 8.15 (out of 10). As owners of a 3D rating website www.Top103DMovies.com we gave this movie a "own-able" thumbs-up.

Such a rare treasure! This film is visually fun, bright, colorful and unique. The story is compelling, the characters are well-formed and likable, and the film is filled with laughs and even tears. Don't miss this fabulous and fulfilling romp.

While 3D is not to the level of Coraline or Hugo, it is relatively consistent in depth and layer separation. Would like to have seen more pop outs. Overall, contributes to the enjoyment of the movie. I would never watch this again in 2D.

Excellent movie my kids wanted to get this but I didn't because i didn't see it out in theaters much and wasn't interested. I decided to purchase it and while watching it with the kids I ended up loving it. Its a great movie for family night.

This movie deserved so much more praise than it ended up getting. Artistically, this is a masterpiece. As a comedy, it falls a little flat in some spots. But, seeing this art style, which was always seen in 2D form on Saturday morning cartoons, in 3D is amazing. It helps that my wife is from Mexico and a lot of the traditions and folklore show through in this movie.

At first I didn't know what to make of this movie. I was but sure if I would like it, but I bought it for my kids because they like just about anything. But the movie really had me interested and I ended up enjoying it from start to finish.

Easy to download the digital movie to your devices and the extra DVD is useful for carrying in your vehicle for the kids to watch when traveling. If you want to enjoy a great movie, I recommend you to purchase this movie.

This film has beautiful art design and animation. Plus the story and connection to the Mexican day of the dead is a really nice way to show the tradition to kids and others not familiar with it. My nieces and nephews love it.

There’s a bit of dead humor in this movie. The 3D is okay. There are some nice layers close to the final scene. But I think it could be just as appreciated in 2D. I need Movies with more PoP to them. I want limbs and cars and yo-yos flinging our the edges of my screen. Nevertheless, it’s a cute, stylized movie.

Really loved this movie and it's story from start to finish. Beautifully done, voice acting is great, and the music is a wonderful touch. Great for younger audiences with some sprinkled in jokes for more mature audiences as well.

This movie was greatly written, produced, and directed!! The animation was spectacular...very vibrant colors. I also enjoyed that kids were able to learn about Mexico's Day of the Dead tradition. A great movie for kids to watch and learn!!

I bought three copies of this movie after seeing it in theaters on a date. One was given to my 3 year old cousin and the other to my mother for valentines day. We all sat down to watch it during valentines day weekend 2015, it is so good.

This is a fantastic movie!! Very funny and sweet. I highly recommend you buy this in blu ray, though. I should have. The colors and graphics in this movie are terrific and I can only imagine what they would look like in blu ray.

My son Loved this movie, I thought it was pretty great as well... He is one of those kids who likes to watch movies over and over (if he likes them that is). Best Buy had it at a good price & I figured I'd pick it up and surprise him.
