I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I am a big fan of the computer animated films. This movie is centered around the Spanish holiday the Day of the Dead. The characters seem to be built like marionettes and look as though they were carved from wood. The movie is bright, fun and the Blu-Ray looks great.

Great family movie. Beautifully animated, vivid colors and cool songs. A movie about family traditions, love, and honor. Also, a great way to introduce Dia de los Muertos.

We had purchased this movie to watch for a family night, but I was actually pretty impressed with how much I ended up enjoying it. The animation is incredible and the colors on Blu-Ray really pop.

I loved the movie, quality was awesome as usual. Enjoyed the how they in corporate the day of the day to show the meaning of why it's celebrate. Very colorful and eye catching for the little ones.

I enjoyed this movie. I loved the music which was more like a hybrid between traditional mexican music and current US music. The story to this film is very touching and in moments funny to watch.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for an entertaining animated film that everyone can watch.I enjoyed watching this movie with my family. It's great for people of all ages.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this film in the theater and picked this one up on Blu-Ray/DVD on release week. Excellent transfer, great features and definitely recommended to fans of this movie!

Really enjoyed this movie. Met, even exceeded disney-level excitement. Good story line. One of the few movies that could be snatched out of the shelf afterwards, to be watched again.

although at first i didn't agree that they would franchise off the Mexican culture , the movie was entertaining and the animation was great as well as the music. so i just have mixed feelings

This movie has excellent animation production for sure. but the story itself is even better. Good movie for both children & adults. I really fall for those emotional scenes.

My kids really enjoy this movie and constantly watch it over and over again. It contains great music and delivers a great message, in remembering your loved ones that have passed away.

I didn't know what to expect from this animation when I first saw it. What sold me on it was the soundtrack. The music was great, it was an amazing take on popular songs. I loved this movie!

Fantastic story about Mexican culture and folklore. Entertaining for the kids and great plot for the adults. If you are looking for a movie for the whole family, I highly recommend this one.

I haven't seen a movie with this much visual excellence since The Nightmare Before Christmas. I absolutely love this film . It's watchable for any age. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

At initial view of the trailer, it didn't really catch my attention but once i have it and gave jt a chance at a view, my opinion completely changed. I love this film.

It's a shame this movie isn't as popular as it deserves to be! It's incredible! Absolute work of art visually, amazing songs that my son adores, and a heartfelt story.

We loved this movie in the theaters so we couldn't wait for it to come out on Blu-ray. Different style animation was refreshing and the voice acting and songs were great! I highly recommend

This is excellent movie, entertaining for both children and adults. Hispanic culture is treated with respect and may introduce younger children to a culture they have yet to be exposed to.

The Book of Life is such a beautiful movie to watch. The colors and the artwork are amazing. The music is perfect and the story makes you feel good. Definitely a film for all ages. :)
