It rivals many of the Pixar films. I'm amazed at how they made this film. The voice characters are superb, too! My kids love this film and I enjoy watching it with them!

A friend told me about this film.. and we LOVED it. Fun and entertaining but better still full of good life lessons and wisdom. Happy to let my 7yo son watch this. Beautiful animation.

I was first drawn in by the Mexican style, which is rarely seem in movies and games. The visual really amazed me throughout. The story is also very enjoyable with twist(s). Recommended.

This movie came out 2-3 years before Disney Pixar's Coco and has a LOT of the same elements but a different and I think better animation style. Get this movie!

She really seemed to enjoy it. She enjoys animated movies and told me that it is probably one I would enjoy also if I were to watch it. If she's happy with it, then 5-stars it gets.

Not only do I love the fact that Channing Tatum is a main character but this is a great family movie to watch together! And the detail to the culture of cinco de mayo is phenomenal!

Very colorful, well drawn and well animated. It has a good plot and lots of action to keep small children interested. i also liked the cultural references based on the Day of the Dead.

The Book of Life is such a great movie! I enjoyed how the creators of this movie did such a good job in capturing the meaning of The Day of the Dead. Great movie for all ages.

The colors and animation are spectacular and the storyline is nothing short of wonderful. You won't be disappointed and neither will your kids! My family watched it 3 times in 2 days!

The Book Of Life is an excellent movie dealing with some heavy themes while exploring Latino culture and mixing that with American pop music creating something beautiful and original.

Good movie for the kids. We still enjoy watching DVD’s as a family and this is worth putting in the collection.

It takes a really good cartoon for me to add it to my collection and this one definitely is. Shows what one person will do and how far they will go to be with their true love.

This movie is awesome. watching the commentary gives you an extra appreciation for the visuals and music alike. The music is beautiful, colors are vivid, and the story is perfect.

My kids ( 10 and 3 years old ) were both instant fans! The visual aspect was phenomenal and the story was entertaining. It has a rock solid cast and you can not help but smile through most of it. Certainly a movie the family should gather on the couch for. Very happy with this movie!
