I have watched this a few times with my kids, and now with my kids kids... We all enjoy this and its just Awesome Family entertainment...!!!

I picked this up thinking it would be just a decent movie for the kids and I ended up enjoying more than they did. I loved the story but the music was fantastic also!

How did I miss this little gem? I guess it doesn't get all the big advertising that a DIsney movie can generate but, we bought it on sale - it was a very pleasant surprise!

Loved this movie when it came out in the movie theatre, so was happy to buy when it came out on DVD. Fun for both children and adults. Would recommend to friends & family.

My kids love the story and the characters. The music is great and the animation is a beatuful representation of the culture. I recommend this movie to EVERYBODY

The storyline is very good, and the animation is high quality. The only concern is that it deals with spirituality and 'post death' ideas that may not be consistent with one's beliefs. However, if one just takes the movie for what it is, then it's a good piece of entertainment.

The kids love this movie. I know it did not win many awards but for me it is way better than any Disney movie in the last 2 years (I think it was even better than Frozen)

we really enjoyed this movie, not only for the graphics, but it is indeed a great story line filled with info on the Hispanic culture and the day of the dead

We recently purchased the Book of Life for our 5 year old because she saw it on TV. The price for the movie was excellent which compelled us to purchase it.

Amazing movie to watch with the family. The animation on here is truly outstanding and overall the story of this movie is great not to mention filled with comedy

We bought this for $5 on a sale for a plane ride for our 4 year old. It kept him entertained and the parts I saw of it looked good. The colors and Mexican theme is neat.

I love this movie it's great for the whole family and buying it at best buy was great cuz they had it right in front of the door for new releases made my trip fast and easy

This movie is great for the kids. Not only are the characters colorful and entertaining, but the story is good, and the music is appealing even to audiences of all ages.

I had heard good things about this movie but I didn't expect to love it so much! It has heart, comedy, drama, and a great story to boot! Highly recommended!

It's not often that a movie comes out for the whole family to watch and fall in love with it. This will take your heart somewhere into your past and remember the old ways.

I could see this movie as a pretty good family film. There were some tones about it that reminded me of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. I appreciated the visuals. There were great colors and quite a bit of action that was exciting to watch. For $10, I'm glad I picked this one up.
