My daughter was studying Mexican customs in school. She told me all about this custom before watching the movie. She said it did a good job of explaining the custom.

I had heard good things about this movie but I didn't expect to love it so much! It has heart, comedy, drama, and a great story to boot! Highly recommended!

My kids absolutely love this movie! I love that it shows them the macho guy doesn't always get the girl! Shows importance of family. Just a all around great movie.

I love this movie. It is a great story about traditional Mexican belief of after life. Some characters may be a little gruesome or scary. Over all entertaining and funny.

I have 4 kids, ages 4-10, and they enjoy this movie. It is a Mexican folk story, with some great plot twists and awesome animation style. Pick it up - you'll like it!

This sequel is visually in 3D and in regards to humor absolutely stunning and the perfect kick for your laughing nerves. Get it before it is sold out.

Better than the previews led me to believe. Loved it. It's a story about a contest, unbeknownst to those involved, to win a girl's heart. The winner of the bet gets to rule the Land of the Remembered, while the loser gets stuck in the Land of the Forgotten. Well done!

Movie is visually beautiful with a great soundtrack. The soundtrack are well known songs with a mexican twist and feel. Hilarious moments with a great lesson to learn.

Beautifully depicted story. We all loved that it taught us something about another culture without being blatantly educational. Rather, it was a good story first.

The Book of Life features excellent animation, a classic romantic adventure story, and amazing design of characters, props and sets! A real work of art not to be missed!

A wonderful addition to your 3d collection that probably consists of mostly animation at this point. Tim Burton-esque in presentation and enjoyable for the whole family.

Morbid theme aside (i.e. Day of the Dead), this is actually a very positive and uplifting movie about love and family. My family loves the vibrant colors and music too!

The art style was my biggest draw to this movie, but on top of that it's also a fun movie with a good story and a good cast. It quickly has become one of my favorites.

This movie has a great message and is family oriented. Its very colorful which will keep the little ones entertained while adults can focus on the bigger parts of it.

Was a great movie with a unique visual look. The songs were a little out of place for the movie. It felt like they should have been songs in Spanish. I think it'd be great for kids 7+ because younger might get scared of a few scenes.

We saw this before Coco came out - we liked it enough to get it again but if you think it’s lile coco you will be a little disappointed

My son absolutely loves this movie, such a great way for kids to kearn about the living and dead and all about life. Even as an adult 8 have watched it a few times.

I have an affinity for bluray DVD combo packs. It was the last one on the shelf where I got it at and it was cheaper than the dvd by itself.
