The best of the the Matt Damon Bourne movies. This is a movie that I have learned to appreciate more and more with repeat viewings. It's just so well made. The intriguing story just pulls you in. The 4K blu ray is a mixed bag. While the picture is sharp in some places the color is very subdued. Its bland looking. I mean what happened. This suppose to be 4K. The sound, however, is excellent. The bass is deep and commanding, and the surrounds are loud and precise. Watch the 1080 for the picture, and the 4K for the sound.

The movie still holds up and the 4k transfer is also good but not the best.

The 4K image is not as sharp as reference quality discs like Lucy or John Wick but still a worthwhile upgrade from 1080 disc even for those that already own the latter. The details and textures on the 4K disc are noticeably smoother. Apples to oranges both the 1080 and 4K discs' audio are reference quality for their respective versions. The movie itself is one of my favorite action/spy movies of the last 20 years. Great combination of action and character development for what would become a franchise. 5* for the movie. 4* for the disc.

The Bourne Identity was on my Grandfather's nightstand when he died. He had told my Grandmother that it was his favorite book and so she gave it to me. His wife just died at age 99. So these movies are a way of reminding me of my WWII Navy Vet and Irish McGill Grandfather and my Grandmother. Even though this series is not for children

This is a review more for the packaging than the movie - Universal added the Bourne movies to their Steelbook releases and included new "comic book"-esque artwork on the front and back. The features are exactly the same as the available Bourne Identity disc, but it adds a DVD and UV copy, which is a nice perk.

I got this for a steal of a deal, and for that price it's certainly worth it. Personally this is the only Bourne movie that I liked, and owning this edition is worth it since I didn't want to buy a collection with them all. If you are in the same boat then you won't be disappointed.

The first Bourne movie is a great character movie and solid action movie. Not my number one of the Bourne movies, but that's not saying a lot because it is still amazing. Definitely pick this up with the other 2, yes 2 because legacy doesn't exist.

So let me start by saying this is my favorite from the Bourne series. However, the 4k transfer is just OK. If you want something that'll show off your new 4k tv, get The Revenant. Otherwise, look for the cheaper blu-ray version of this movie.

Have to admit, I when heard Matt Damon was starring in an action movie I didn't bother with till I've seen Bourne Supremacy. I was amazed so I had to watch the first one. Now I'm convinced he is a great actor.

This is a great movie starring Matt Damon. This is the first movie in the Bourne series. I liked this movie as we are introduced to Jason Bourne. The series gets better in the next two movies.

Great action movie made even better in ultra HD. Picture is very clear and the sound is amazing. The movie is a little dark not as bright as I expect.

I already purchased a bluray copy sometime before, but whenever Best Buy puts out movies on steelbook that I like I purchase. Love the steelbook collections

The Bourne Identity is the first of the original trinity of Jason Bourne movies starring Matt Damon. I think it's the best one. Great action and acting.

Notice how I said trilogy but all in all this is a solid action movie with good writing and good character developing if you can say that.

Great steelbook for one of my favorite trilogies. I just wish they carried the other two films on this type of steelbook.

Had the prior 1080p movie. Now updating my collection to 4K. The Bourne series have been one of my favorites.

The Jason Bourne series is really good and entertaining even if they seem to rehash the same idea each movie

If you are a fan of the action genre, you should like this movie. Well choreographed fight sequences. Good plot etc.

This was the first Bourne movie. It looks good in 4K format. It is still very entertaining.
