Great movie! Would've given 5 stars if the BulRay worked. Tried on different players. Stops @ same place and there are no scratches, fingerprints, ect. Glad there is a good return policy for online shopping.

This movie was horrible. I always liked the bourne movies but this movie was not good because it lacked Matt Damon. I can't wait for the next installment because Matt Damon will return.

Very confusing! Did not like Jeremy Renner's character! Can't wait to see the new "Jason Bourne" movie with Matt Damon!

The Bourne series with out Jason Bourne/Matt Damon? Why? Such a poor film.

The Bourne Legacy is a stand-alone tale in the Bourne mythos with only a few references to Jason Bourne, and no cameos by Matt Damon. If you've read The Bourne Legacy book, this film is nothing like that book, so do not go into the movie with a preconceived idea of the plot. The plot is good, engaging and interesting. Jeremy Renner keeps the viewer interested and moves the film along nicely. Renner does an excellent job of creating a persona that is identical to Matt Damon's Bourne character. Detached, icy, yet involved and caring. Very good movie. Ended too quickly.

This was an awesome movie. The plot was very interesting and the settings....oh the settings in the Bourne series is just amazing. It went from Berlin to Moscow to another but the Phillipines was just a great setting to film this movie. All the action was totally rad! I'm not a fan of guns but the gun parts was the best I have to say because I'm definitely NOT a fan of talking parts. Though, the actor Jeremy Renner is a good actor, an excellent actor to put it at that but Matt Damon was the character in the first 3 movies so I don't think they should've put a new character because a lot of Bourne fans are used to seeing Damon but then they recruited a new character. I mean , come one guys Damon will always fit the profile of Jason Bourne. Besides that the Bourne Legacy was a great film to watch. I would recommend this to anyone.

What would you do if the American intelligence community was hunting you? Would you surrender or simply find a dark hole to hide in? Aaron Cross, the main character of the film, doesn’t have those options. While the Central Intelligence Agency is in turmoil after the release of confidential Treadstone documents, Aaron Cross (played by Jeremy Renner) is an agent of Treadstone’s successor, Operation Outcome. Cross (Renner) is on a training mission in Alaska and arrives at a remote cabin to rendezvous and restock on medications he’s taking for reasons that we’re not made aware of. In the cabin, he meets another agent named Number Three (played by Oscar Isaac). Their ultimate supervisor, Eric Byer (played by Edward Norton) decides Outcome and the agents in the program are a liability and send a predator drone to destroy the remote Alaskan cabin while activating kill switches in other operatives stationed around the world. After removing his tracking device, Cross force feeds it to a wolf that had been stalking him for reasons beyond understanding and begins his quest for more medication. Elsewhere, at a pharmaceutical company’s headquarters, a gunman murders all of his coworkers, with the exception of Dr. Marta Shearing (played by Rachel Weisz) and then turns the gun on himself. Shearing is understandably shaken after watching one of her coworkers murder all of the others and goes home. The Agency sends a team to Shearing’s home to assess her mental state, and assure themselves that she won’t reveal confidential information. At least, that’s how they got in the door. Once inside, however, they reveal their true purpose, eliminating one more witness who could testify about Outcome. Their attempt is thwarted by Cross and, next thing you know, he and Shearing are on the run together. Now, during press interviews for The Bourne Ultimatum, Matt Damon said that, while he might reprise the role of Jason Bourne sometime in the distant future, he and Paul Greengrass might have to call the next one The Bourne Redundancy. After seeing this film, I believe that should’ve been the title. Renner had already established himself as an action star and Rachel Weisz is capable, as always. That said this movie takes all the loose ends tied off by the previous films, unties them, and leaves even more simply to allow for the possibility of a sequel. Unless and until Greengrass and Damon reunite for a new film, I’ll consider Ultimatum the last film in the Bourne series. Skip it.

With the latest Jason Bourne film about to hit theaters, it made sense to update my library with "The Bourne Legacy" on blu-ray. Not only am I up to date in preparing for the next film, but the purchase also provides me with an $8 voucher to be applied toward my movie ticket to see Matt Damon continue the story. Jeremy Renner gives an outstanding performance in this story as another manufactured assassin that the government has lost control of. I love the screenplay. It keeps the story driving, with an edge-of-your-seat expectation to see just where it might turn next. The filming is incredible, and captured very crisply in the blu-ray edition.

Saw this 5 times in the theater and can't wait to own it on Blu-ray!!! This film was fantastic. Full of fast paced action. Jeremy Renner created a wonderful character and can't wait to see him in another movie! If they can get Matt Damon & Jeremy Renner in the next Bourne film, that would be awesome!!!!

Jeremy Renner takes over for Matt Damon and does an excellent job. However, the plot drags a bit in spots and could probably have 15-20 minutes cut out to make it move along better. That being said,if you are a fan of the previous Bourne films you will enjoy this one as well.

We were wondering how they would do the Bourne movies without Matt Damon, they were some of our favorites. But 'Bourne Legacy' switched to another main character that had gone thru the same Bourne training and the guess what? The CIA is after him, too :). If I want to watch a movie twice, it's a good movie. This is one of those good movies.

I am a big fan of the Jason Bourne trilogy and I still found this new take on the field operative in the Bourne "universe" very entertaining. If you liked the Jason Bourne series, give this movie a viewing and I am pretty sure you will like it too.

This is the absolute best Bourne! Legacy ties them all together and explains the science behind it all. I love all the Bourne films and believe me this one is THE best.

This was a great prequel to the Bourne movies. The whole "meds" angle is weird and out of left field. Jeremy Renner is an awesome action star and the action in this movie does not disappoint. Not quite as good as the Damon originals but still a soild action movie.

I saw this movies several times. It was awesome! I want Jeremy Renners character to stay and who cares if Damon goes back. Loved it can't wait to own it!

Although not to par with the Bourne trilogy, Renner is a worthy addition to the series. Action is the key + in film and I enjoyed the ride!

It isn't quite as compelling as the earlier trilogy, but The Bourne Legacy shows that the Bourne franchise still has legs even without Damon.

I had been told Bourne Legacy was not very good. Bad advice! You will still love this movie without Matt Damon. If you liked the previous Bourne movies, you should like this one. Buy it and enjoy it.

I was told the movie is a little slow and didn't have as much action. I thought the movie had the right combination of action for the plot.
