One of the best movies in my opinion...something different and well made. Pitch Black is even more "blacker" with this 4K version...making things pop even more.

Excellent transfer. If you owned this film on Blu-ray I see no problem with the double dip a little grainy but no dealbreaker I recommend this film highly .

Movie was in great condition and very entertaining, a great remaster of an old classic.

Played well, and looked great! The different color schemes for the different suns really pop on screen. If you’re a fan then this upgrade is worth it.

Deep space transport crashes on unknown planet surrounded by tree suns. Planet goes into eclipse ever 22 years than the planets hungry creatures come looking for food. Early days Vin Diesel career this is a fun Sci FI Classic. Horror meets space!

If you have an OLED tv buy this now. This movie is very dark for most of it and the OLED really looks great on this one.

I was actually skeptical when I first heard pitch black was coming out on 4k, mainly due to it being a very dark movie. Then I watched some YouTube reviews which gave it high remarks and upgrade worthy thumbs up. I do not own the Blu-ray copy but I do own the DVD copy, so I threw the 4K copy in first and then switched back to the DVD and then back to the 4K and then back to the DVD and I really wasn't all that impressed. For $20 if I knew what I know now I probably would have waited until it was like $12 because I honestly just didn't see a huge improvement whatsoever. It's definitely a Black Friday sale movie and not a regular purchase movie

The best this movie has ever looked. This release is packed with special features too. No standard blu ray but it’s fine. Highly recommended.

Movie has a great story, action is good, actors are all intriguing and believable and it’s a good watch for all sci-fi creature movie buffs

the 4k dvd is awesome and making it enjoyable to watch and listen to the sound

I really liked the movie. It's a fun movie and I love it taking place in another planet. Nice to watch when you want something on in the background or don't have anything else to watch.

I liked this movie when it came out years ago..the 4k version does look a little different color wise..sound is great..good sci fi movie...

If you enjoy your science fiction with some humor and some very good action, open your wallet and pick this up. 4K does enhance this!

Pitch black is a classic and my personal favorite of the Riddick movies. The 4k looks and sounds great. Don't miss out on this one.

I bought this movie because of the new Riddick movie coming out soon, and this movie is awesome! Vin Diesel is perfect for the character, a movie you will all enjoy if you like scary and action altogether
