Thought this movie would be better. It had a great cast but no story

only thing good is the two leopards ,. they are beautiful. carmen diaz is just fluff in this movie. bad acting, no plot, slow moving. horrible movie.glad i did not spend the time or money to see this in the theatre. do not buy this movie. waste of time and money.

this was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. the story was stupid, as well as hard to follow at times. it was a total waste of my time to watch it. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone!

not my favorite by any means the movie makes no sense espeacially some of the killing and they DIDIN'T DO Penelope cruz RIGHT PLUS THE ENDING IS WACK

I was really disappointed. Brad Pitt was okay but nothing else was good. I finished watching it but definately wouldn't recommend it.

I never thought that with all the good actors this movie could be do bad. The conversations are never ending and without a purpose.

The plot plodded along and was made the movie boring. The characters weren't interesting at all.

This was not a well-reviewed movie, so I hesitated to watch it it, but any movie starring Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, Michael Fassbender, Penélope Cruz that's directed by Ridley Scott is worth watching. This was. A lot of over-the-top action and the story is sprawling, but you will b glad that you watched it.

I was enjoying the movie ALL the way until Penelope's last moment. I really hoped Michael was going to find and rescue her. But instead, they (not Michael) murdered her and "dumped" her like she was nothing. I have to admit that I am not happy/satisfied with her last scene. She was so beautiful/sweet/gorgeous throughout, and I mean every single scene of her, except very last. Directly speaking, I am P*** off at what happen to her. This movie makes me hate Cameron but makes me adores Penelope, both in a 180 way. I will watch this movie again but will not finish, will stop when (well I already explained). This is just my opinion.

On paper, The Counselor seems like the thriller to end all thrillers but it practice it leaves audiences wanting. It's fragmented start slowly comes together to tell the tale of a man who has simply bit off more than he can chew and he pays the price for it. It's the kind of movie that doesn't explicitly spell out everything that's happening so mouth breathers should not bother watching at all. For everyone else, this is a film that will leave you wanting. It's not bad but it certainly isn't No Country for Old Men.

Not your average crime film, it was very interesting dialogue however the story seemed to be less in focus. Good moments but not classic crime genre film.

This is an example of a movie not having an identity for a particular genre. It is a drama, an action movie and a crime thriller or none of the above. That can confuse the average movie-goer unless it is just superb in all those categories, which this is not.

The movie was okay. For me it was definitely a middle of the road type of movie. The counselor had it's moment, but I wish I had rented the movie.

Star studded film! That's what caught my attention initially. It was a decent movie. Bluray... Was good for the bloody parts.
