An underrated film with such a visual flair. Nearly everything done with puppets and handmade craft. Recommend to those interested in fantasy with muppets.

This movie holds up well on the bluray transfer. Comes in wonderful packaging with a nice story and production booklet with behind the scene pictures on set etc. Looking forward to sharing this with my kids.

Hey, I saw this movie a long time ago when I was a kid at the theater with my cousin and younger brother. If you like Jim Henson and company, check this fantasy film out, especially on 4K. Grab it, you won't be sorry.

Nice digibook release of the film. Originally came with a Movies Anywhere code for a Digital Copy; may have since expired on 12/31/2020... but you never know...

Nobody likes to watch this with me, but at least when I do watch it, it’s even better than it was before! HDR mastering is tasteful for me on a cheaper HDR TV.

This steelbook is fantastic! I love all of the exclusives that Best Buy receives and this one is right up there with it. And for it to be a 4K anniversary edition was the cherry on top. Gem of a film really.

Great film, looks great too! Plus Bestbuy was easy to use. Would've like more special features in 4k but I was in it for the main event and got it!

This movie has always been a favorite of mine. it is a story of good and evil as told by the great puppeteer Jim Henson. Definitely worth watching over and over. The 4K conversion was done very well.

This has been and will remain one of my all time favorite movies from my childhood and finding out my fiancé loved it as a kid too made the decision to purchase the anniversary edition a no brainer!

An amazing movie with real actual special effects. no computer mess here , nothing but the real practical special effects and a well done movie. loved the storyline and character development.

This is one of my all-time favorite films by Jim Henson. The story still holds up and is worth rewatching. I will always love this film and am so happy its on a modern format such as blurry.

The best Jim Henson film of his career highly recommend for the family but a little dark

It’s amazing how good these movies shot on film look in the 4K format. Details are popping and they overall have a better presentation in color. Solid film and a solid transfer on this disc.

Times have changed and the pacing is slow but watching practical effects makes it worth it. I saw it as a child and then when Fathom Events did a one night only in 2018 for the anniversary saw it again. Then bought this...It is fun watching art and not a movie where it is all CGI. It took work to make this and it shows.

Dark Crystal was a wonderful movie when it was first released, the anniversary edition lives up to the original hype. The historical footage/behind the scenes stories are a wonderful bonus.

This movie used puppets and a great imagination. Made by Jim Henson. I love the story and the attention to detail, a couple of scenes it was a small child in a costume. But so well done

There is just something about vintage special effects that computer generated graphics will never compete with. This is a beautifully, lovingly crafted film that I still enjoy as an adult and still puts me in a awe state.

Another top notch release from Sony. A great 4K restoration of the classic film. I never thought The Dark Crystal could look this good. Grab the SteelBook while you can. It's a nice bonus.

Great movie! I saw this in the theater with my Dad back in 1982 and bought it to watch my my little guy. The visuals look a bit dated, but I can appreciate the artistry and detail of the puppets used in the film as well as the environments. Classic!
