Watched this as a teen back in the 80's and really enjoyed it, so if you're thinking of picking this one up I'm sure you won't be disappointed, great fun for the whole family.

I hadn't seen this movie since the early 90s but watching it as an adult I found It to be more entertaining than when i was kid. As an adult i was able to appreciate the amazing puppetry and the beautiful set designs more so then when I was a child. Super nostalgic and HIGHLY recommended!

This is such a classic movie, and it really holds up! The Blu-ray quality is probably as good as you could hope from an early-80’s era film. But, the quality of the puppetry and filmmaking in this movie is just outstanding. If you haven’t seen this, see it now! If you have, get this to relive the magic!

A classic of a movie and still beautiful after all this years. Personally this is my favorite edition of the movie to own. If you enjoyed Labyrinth you'll enjoy this too

Jim Henson’s Dark Crystal is a a amazing feat of cinema. No humans, only puppets. It feels so authentic you get wrapped in this beautiful tale.

The Dark Crystal is a classic. This is old school movie making at its best.

One of my favorite adventure films. It's beautifully shot with puppets to give the whole movie a great fantasy atmosphere that is combined with a terrific soundtrack.

Despite the new wave of computer animation, this film that relies on puppetry arts is still a classic, with great characters and a great story.

Strange, but a very elegant fantasy story told with no actual human actors. The work and storytelling are Amazing. If you are a Henson fan, a definite must have!

Jim Henson spent 5 years putting this Magnificent idea onto the Screen! He and his team gave us a remarkable story, perfectly staged and filmed to be seen for all time.

A fabulous movie from Jim Henson and Frank Oz. The characters and world are unique and amazing. Enjoyable for the whole family. Perfect to add to a movie collection.

I was pleased to know that one of my favorite childhood movies was being released in 4K. This is a great restoration that looks and sounds better than any other release. The picture is cleaned up and the added HDR make the brights pop.

The Dark Crystal, is exactly as it’s titled “dark” it’s however a great movie. The package is awesome, hard case plus a small storybook. Worth the purchase for sure.

Nightmare fuel or not, this movie is absolutely gorgeous and is even more beautiful in 4K. The steelbook comes with a handful of bonuses inside of the case.

I rmember this wheni was a kid, glad i picked up in 4k quality, got hte steel book. Movie looks amazing in 4k considering hte age of the movie. deff worth picking up

The Dark Crystal 4K is a good upgrade from the blu-ray. PQ is very detailed. AQ is an improvement too. A must own for fans of the movie. Good kids movie too.

The was good quality picture. It took me back to when I watched as a kid. But better picture of course! Lol

For those of you that may not have seen this movie, do so now. This is a splendidly dark fantasy film starring some of Jim Henson's best creations. It loses nothing in its conversion to blu ray.
