Who would have thought that a truly emery’s I’ve world could be populated entirely by puppets? It was ground breaking in its day and has withstood the test of time.

Much better in BluRay than standard DVD, but great in 4K Ultra

I watched this movie when I was a child and loved it. The movie looks great in this bluray. Since Age of Resistance is coming, it's good to watch this original first!

I loved this movie, so glad to have it on bluray. Anything by Jim Henson is great for family viewing. I can't wait to see what's to be done with new Dark Crystal.

Jim Henson’s “Dark Crystal” is an amazing fantasy film made all the more unique by the puppets created to bring the world to life. Filled with imagination and wonder and a good old fashioned story of good and evil, this film still resonates today and is fun for the whole family!

I found this limited edition 4K Steelbook on sale at Best Buy. I hadn't seen the film since I was a child, so to see it in 4K was a real treat. It is a pretty amazing film. The extras are very entertaining, as well. Definitely worth a watch, but maybe not one I would re-watch often.

Great film that while dark, still holds the attention of viewers of all ages. The creatures that were created by Jim Henson are truly outstanding.

In a league with Labyrinth, Dark Crystal is what the movies from the 80s are all about. Still enjoyable today, it comes in a digibook package, along with a digital HD copy of the movie. I was able to get it as part of a B1G1 promo for essentially $5. Great buy.

The picture quality is spectacular and the sound mix is great, Trevor Jones' fantastic score has never sounded better! Highly recommended!!!!

I managed to snag this steelbook version on sale, and it is worth it. I own this on Beta from years ago, so now having it on 4k, Blu-ray, and digital is a major upgrade Great sound and the colors are bright and crisp. I am very happy to have waited for this version.

The Dark Crystal is a timeless classic and this Blu-Ray transfer is great. Also note that it does come with a digital copy for your devices.

Loved this movie. One of our favorite Henson movies

For those of us old enough to remember, the puppets are still magic. Pass this on to the next generation and remember, only girls have wings.

I purchased this movie for my Grandkids to watch because it was a favorite of my children when they were young. My grandchildren loved it also.

I already own this movie on blue ray but I had to buy it in this format. Happy I did as the picture is much sharper and clearer. Pleased.

No one makes these kinds of movies anymore with a score of biblical proportions and a LOtR inspired story with no humans involved !
